You already could have midi learn also in Invader 2 if the vst3 host supports it. Invader 2 supports the IContextMenu interface so one could open a contextmenu with midi learn via rightclicking a knob or fader. I think FLStudio implements this for example. Implementing midi learn as a plugin is a bitch to program.

Yes, works fine here in Reaper. Just right-click, select Learn, and move some hardware control...

Look at it this way: It's still pay what you want, starting at 5 euros.
If you don't buy it he doesn't get a single cent. If you do buy it and pay 10 bucks, he gets that without having lost anything because he can create countless licenses without any effort. It's not hardware where he would lose money if you paid too little.

One more idea if you get bored :hihi:
On oscillator 2 you might offer the sync mode for a saw wave, rather than the pulse on oscillator 1.

Don't you get bored with them after a while? I do. Even things I really, really like go through cycles where I lose interest in them for a while so fresh inspiration is always welcome and definitely has value.

No not really. I have enough synths in my starting rotation that there's always one to keep me inspired. Then I have a lot of synths that come off the bench once in a while to bring something fresh.

I prefer complex synths like for example Parawave Rapid which I have barely scratched the surface with so far. It's capable of such a wide range of sounds it will be quite some time before I tire of it and so on.

A new synth is always welcome but it has to bring something new, different, or better than what I already have. Invader 2 is a very nice synth but I already have quite a few very nice synths so it's pretty hard for a new synth to bring something different.

Not a knock on Invader 2 at all just a result of having a fat synth folder.

I find I tend to make the same sounds, no matter which synth I use, no matter how I start out. There are particular sounds I like for particular things and I always end up there. Sometimes it's quite eerie how similar my patches are from very different synths. When you hear a sound in any of our songs that is a bit different, it will almost always be a preset from someone else, with a few tweaks to make it fit the part.

Compared to Rapid, I2 it is certainly simple, but then again, feature-wise it is at the same level as the J8 or OB8, which people still find great today :)

To me I2 sounds rather good, I don't hear aliasing or other artifacts on filter 1, it sounds full and has noticeable bottom.

Does it use a zero-delay feedback filter? Just wondering...

It's not a ZDF Filter. I couldn't hear the difference between the ZDF and non ZDF version so I chose to keep things simple and reduce the CPU load.

By the way:
For the people with blurry graphics and scaling issues, i've found the issue and will fix it in the next release.
