No luck finding impulse reponses of the ASR-10, but these examples of the ASR-10 could help you get the right sound:

But unless you're pitching up and down quite a lot which causes aliasing, I still think all you need is a bit of EQ and compression. And of course the right sounding saturation if you like that hotter input sound.

I figured I wouldn’t get ASR-10 but maybe something close with a combination of these?Lotuz2019 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 23, 2021 5:36 amAlthough I like the plugins you want to buy a lot (my favourite bitcrushers are Decimort 2, TAL-DAC and SP950), I have the feeling you are going to be disappointed. None of these will instantly give you the ASR-10 sound and punch you're after, certainly not RX950 and SP950 as they emulate the very different sounding S950 and SP1200. Have you already tried the demo of TAL-DAC to see if you can get that sound out of it?loveplastic wrote: ↑Thu Jul 22, 2021 9:31 pm So far my personal saturation plug-ins are:
Logic Stock
Softube Saturation Knob
Tube Saturator Vintage (another free plug-in)
Decimort-2
Buying:
RX950
TAL-DAC
SP950
In good hands?
Decimort has a “ASR-10” setting but owners of the real hardware say it doesn’t emulate it well.
My other option is to settle for the Akai S-950 sound. The RX950 gets really close.
My last option is to learn the heck out of these plug-ins and create my own unique color with them.
Speaking of color in the future I want RC-20 if it goes on sale.
Forgot to mention I also have Reason 11 which comes with Audiomatic, which colors sound really well but without much depth in control.
Have I tried the TAL DAC demo?
No. I didn’t even know it had one. With it being so cheap I will just get it without a trial.
Thanks a ton!
My setup:
iMac (fall 2009)
3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4GB Ram
OS Lion
Pro Tools 8.0.3 with various Waves Plugins
Reason 6.0.2
61-key Korg Triton Studio. M-Audio Uno MIDI to USB cable from Triton to iMac.

Maybe this should be your first option as you already have Decimort 2. Don't be distracted by presets.loveplastic wrote: ↑Fri Jul 23, 2021 6:55 am My last option is to learn the heck out of these plug-ins and create my own unique color with them.

Just a heads up for anyone like me who has an earlier version of Arturia Collection and hasn't upgraded due to the Collection being too expensive, the current individual instruments sale at 50% also applies to 'update instruments' so Arturia was offering me an upgrade to Jup 8V 4 for €29, but I actually got to buy it for half that, €14.50. It's really worth that price as it leaves the previous version in the dust!

Sorry this took so long. We now have the McDSP "Any 7 Native to Everything Pack Native v6.4 UPGRADE" on our site for $299:Ceej wrote: ↑Sat Jul 17, 2021 12:40 am@Uncle E - will you be adding the "Any 7 Native to Everything Pack Native v6.4 UPGRADE" package to JRRShop? You already have the Any 1 through Any 6 ones, but not the 7.downSouthside wrote: ↑Fri Jul 16, 2021 7:20 pm Pickup McDSP Everything Bundle for around $500.
There are currently at least 8 McDSP plugins on sale for $29 or even less at some online stores. If you purchase 7 of these you can then purchase the Any 7 Native to Everything Pack Native v6.4 UPGRADE directly from McDSP. The total comes to around $500. I've personally purchased and confirmed.
With the coupon code "group", there are a number of McDSP plugins on sale for $24.36, and the "Any 6 to Everything" bundle comes out at $293.16, so you could get the whole Everything pack for $439.32. It'd probably be ~$15 less if the "Any 7" pack becomes available too.

My favourite freebies are Waves freebies, cause they allow me to use Waves products without feeling guilty.

I'm fine with not updating though. I gathered 5 freebies over the years, they all still seem to be valid licences.m36 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 24, 2021 1:27 pmUntil you discover WUPcptgone wrote: ↑Sat Jul 24, 2021 1:22 pm My favourite freebies are Waves freebies, cause they allow me to use Waves products without feeling guilty.3qO wrote: ↑Sat Jul 24, 2021 12:15 pm Waves OneKnob Filter is free until July 26:

Can't open any Waves plugins in Live 11.0.5 right now--put in a ticket with Ableton. We'll see. Sucks.

Native Instruments Piano Colors sounds amazing. Native Instruments doesn’t include it with the just released Komplete 13 UCE. I don’t want to buy Komplete 13 UCE because it lacks Piano Colors and I don’t want to buy Piano Colors because I’ll eventually get it in a future version of Komplete. Is this some kind of German Idealism trap?

I’ve been in this boat since Noire came out. I’m stuck on V10 Ultimate and having upgraded Kontact to 6 separately there’s just not enough value to justify spending another cent with NI yet, but I did want Noire a lot.Uncle E wrote: ↑Sat Jul 24, 2021 3:45 pm Native Instruments Piano Colors sounds amazing. I think they’re punishing us for having some control over our GAS.
tbh it wouldn’t take much for me to shell out next time, just bring in resizing you bastards!

Ya, then you have to wonder, was it ready before 13 came out, but they benched it to draw in solo Piano Colors purchases from those who didn't want to wait for 14 (which is, what, two years from now?).
