Ok I have finished the "Root beer console"..... I have updated the attachment in the first post with the latest version. There is also a Repaer project file that has been routed. The new zip file has two Mux presets. One for the Root beer Console and another for the Root Beer drum mixer. The drum mixer is a 8 channel version with less auxs and no busses. i used this to sub mix the drums into the main console. This allows for a better user experience as well as allows Reaper to divide between the cpu cores.
Below is a video that demonstrates the set up on a full mix, reviews some of the routing and signal flow and has audio examples.

Hey Monk, you include the code to increase the number of outputs from 2 to 8 for the Mux plugins in Reaper, but how do you increase outputs for a Mux module in MuLab ( & for mac)?

You mean like this?

MuLab understands Mux modular I/Os.
If you mean in a rack slot, then rack slots are the limiting factor - they're one in/out pair with sends. So I can stick that collection above into a Mux:

where I had to manually add the ins/outs to expose them.
In a rack slot, if I want to use the extra Audio outs (the one event output is automatically available and I don't think the modulation output can be accessed), I have to tell the slot about them:

What I don't know is what you can do after that -- too long since I found it and I've not used it

Not sure I will personally have a use for it but its great work that you have done, another gem for Mulib.

Hey Michael
That code is more Mux specific than Reaper. It just allows access of more I/O for any DAW to use.
The latest version requires 12 ins now....I actually only use 2 outs now that the busses are internal but it is nice to have the 8 if you need it.

Where do you add that code? It looks like the path in your readme is for a Mux vst, not a Mux Preset.Scrubbing Monkeys wrote: Sat Aug 21, 2021 10:47 amThat code is more Mux specific than Reaper. It just allows access of more I/O for any DAW to use.

Hey Michael. You are correct. I added these to my Mux vst plugin user settings.
Here is a shortish Routing video. At the 1:15 mark it shows the process and location. I am not sure you have to do that if you are using Mulab as your DAW. See PlJones post above.

Thanks, Monk. Yeah, I was wondering if such a global change were mysteriously possible in MuLab, but it is as pljones described. Amazing difference to your mix, by the way!
