This might refer to NKS maybe, where tags have changed. I do recall though that a lot of effort went into updating the tags to our latest standards set in Zebra and Hive.

All good. We've hired 3 new guys since and two more are starting this fall.

The latest 32 bit versions of Triple Cheese, Podolski and Protoverb crashed in Renoise. Anyone else have issues with the new 32 bit versions of these plugins?

Mac, Windows or Linux? And which version of Renoise? VST2, VST3, or AU?

Personally, I hope they leave Hive pretty much as is and just implement the aforementioned features in Zebra3 instead. Hive is awesome because it's not bloated with every option under the sun, just enough features, implemented in such a way to cover a broad range of sounds without choice overwhelm and or crap workflow.

I immensely agree. Hive is already bursting at the seams as-is haha. The line between cpu-friendly simplicity and flexibility can be such a fine one, but I think any future additions to Hive should be workflow-related and making simple things faster and complex things easier. Not necessarily adding more complexity for the sake of it. All those new modules should be reserved for Zebra3

The last available 32bit version of Renoise is 3.1.1. It seems they stopped supporting 32bit a long time ago, so I would not be too surprised if our plugins didn't work in such an old DAW.

But I installed this 3.1.1 version and all our current VST2 32bit plugins are working just fine.

I suspect it's simply an installation issue.

Well, IMO, it's not in the benefits of u-he to hold back the development in Hive and make things more advanced and complex. For me, there is no problem at all because I have all u-he synths (and more from other companies), however, for someone wants all in one power synth, it's strange to tell him/her that Hive can't do that (especially basic things like fm and sync between the 2 oscillators!), and it's better to buy Zebra!
Zebra and Bazille are great synths, but have deep learning curve in general, while Hive is oversimplified. The only balanced synth is Diva, but that is an emulation of several vintage analog synths.
The advantage of adding some advanced oscillators or/and phase/frequency modulations is that Hive is already has easy workflow, so it's faster to achieve complex sounds with that workflow if the tools available.
Yes, maybe making Hive more complex would make Zebra and Bazille not very needed, but why buy Hive and Bazille/Zebra when you need just one synth like Serum/Phase Plant/Vital?!

Because they are very different, both in features and sound
