I've been working on this skin with the RC1 beta and been using release build 12092 since it came out - everything seems to work!

There's a few label misalignments in easy modes i'll update before i submit it to the patchlib

I really like the look of this and especially what you did to the saturation meter - it's so useful now! But for some reason the light version looks like this on my system (Windows 10, 4k screen, Reaper and Bitwig):



Dark mode works fine though. Any idea what I could be doing wrong? I just copied to folders to the Presswerk theme directory (and copied the font to the relevant directory).

On my system it looks exactly the same - no matter what host I use ( Cubase, Nano Host or Unify).

@flechtwerk: Could you please check Dark Mode again? I don't think that it looks alright. What about the MIDI button, for example? Or the BROWSE button?

I investigated into this, and some (if not all) of the PNG files in the ANIMATIONS folder seem to be corrupt. For instance, I tried using these knobs in another u-he synth - it gives you exactly the same result (green elliptical shapes).

To solve this: When you open any of the PNG files in question in a graphics editing programme and use the SAVE AS PNG option you should be fine. Of course, doing this for all the knob files is tedious.
FYI: I tried this in Affinity, using the batch processing option - that does NOT work.

@Ploki: Could you please have a look at this, resaving the single PNG files?
I would like to say that both the Nitro skins look great (at least in the pictures you are showing here). So kudos for your ideas and work!

It was done in affinity designer and split with the script, and screenshots are from Logic

It still looks the same at my system, unfortunately... And e-musician is right: The browse and MIDI buttons are broken in dark mode too. (I cannot test on macOs though.)

I have to correct myself: Re-exporting the images using AFFINITY does NOT work at all (I have just tested this with image_000 from the Knob-big folder). What I described above does work with PAINT.NET (I only applied this "trick" to some of the buttons and a few single knob images). Unfortunately, that programme does not do batch processing.

When you open the various Nitro folders (inside the ANIMATIONS folder) in Windows Explorer, all the images look fine. It is only when you open Presswerk and select the Nitro skin that you realize that there is something wrong with them.

I haven’t got a response from support yet, but i’m using the same export I uploaded few days ago and i think i’d notice green blobs :/ something platform related must be amiss - since all images are exported with same settings from same single affinity document and split with same script, i’m not sure how red and beige knobs can work and grey don’t

I don't see any open tickets relating to Presswerk and third party GUI design in our support system.
