And you'd better not change your firewall or antivirus, since soft-eLicenser is tied to your network adapter, and any software that changes your network routing will invalidate your seL.
Since it no longer needs eLicenser, it’s totally irrelevant.

I've changed both of those often and have yet to have a problem because of it. Sometimes after a Win 10 update, I've had to run the eLicense maintenance to re-establish recognition, but besides for the few seconds of inconvenience in running it, no such problem as you described seems to have ever existed for me.

I take it you didn't mean to quote me, I've never had a problem either.

Quotes within quotes for continuity sake. My response was to the same as yours. :)

What do you mean with "it"?

Post

I bought Padshop 2 yesterday, and it does use elicenser.

Post

of course does padshop 2 uses a eLicenser, it is a steinberg product. perhaps simmo75 meant the dongle.
great plugin by the way (have it as part of cubase).

The granular engine in Pigments is very good too.

I did mean the dongle... apologies, my 3 month old son isn’t giving us much sleep, so making even less sense than usual.

It's ok, it doesn't matter to me.

Tell him that he is grounded. It's important to set the tone in the early formative years . . . or months.
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

granurise:

https://granurise.com/

That looks incredible but surely the M4L version will not support MPE (at least not till Live 11)?
it was unclear via the website, or i didn't find it, or was too quick...

so i asked some questions:

it supports MPE in live 10 suite, with the known workaround, create 16 midi tracks, there is a python script for it even (the link on the roli site is wrong, i have found a working one, can't find it that fast now).

but it will work; i quote "out of the box" in live 11 suite.

and it works as standalone in MAX 8 (even when the trial period has ended), but of course it is nicer to have it in live 11 suite (although M4L is still limited to one core, but that can change.. it can..).

but is a beast, a lot of possibilites, and i own a seabord block + 2 lightpad M blocks, tight integration with the blocks. nice.

bought too much, again.. o well. i had a plan. didn't work. but i only bought what i really wanted for a long time, i thought.. this is it...

than i saw granurise, i will wait, and hope the intro price is still valid, when live 11 suite arrives. MPE i tested it, it works, in live 10 suite, but i prefer not to setup, i work in strange ways.. so...

but budget is gone, but this thing is really great. spectral/fm morphing... playing with grain voices... etc. etc.

a nice addition to the granular realm me thinks.
So now Live 11 supports MPE I assume this no longer needs the old 'workaround'?

release notes for version 1.2.2;

GranuRise version v1.2.2 brings native MIDI MPE support in Ableton Live 11.

We had to redo MIDI and AUDIO engine in order to keep things compatible also with Ableton Live 10.

Multi-OUT is also available in case you prefer to record Granular, Spectral, Sample, Synth and Effect modules separately as stems and remix them later in postproduction.

Some highlights:

* Native MIDI MPE support for Ableton Live 11

* Multi-OUT routing available for each module (Granular, Spectral, Sample, Synth and Effect)

* Ableton Push improved parameters display

* Improved MIDI mappings

* Performance optimization

* Few Bug fixes and GUI tweaks

so yes!
