re:modular video: it sounds cool but it's nothing you cant get from Zebra, Diva, Spire, Sylenth, Hive, whatever.

haha. Alice deejay hook.
serum sounds pretty piss poor in that video. wouldn't be my first supersaw choice anyway

Jonas Norberg is not a rogue developer and he has updated his synth several times for compatibility. ... why add more features to a synth which is already solid and fully featured?
surreal,
You are of course correct.
I shouldn't have used the word "Rogue"
Bad choice of words for sure and for that I apologize.

Nope I am no fanboi of Helix but just highlighted the fact if a synth is feature complete with Maintenance updates moving with time then there is nothing to criticise the synth nor Developer about... if a person wants other synths with different options, well then go purchase other developers Synths with those desired features.

@strovoknights Hey thanks for posting that! Anacreon uses a special panning algorithm designed to make any supersaw sound as wide as possible.

@all I would say that you should get as many different supersaw VSTs as possible. Every synthesizer or VST is going to have a slightly different sound. I particularly like synth1 for muffled lo-fi supersaws, superwaveP8, Sylenth, z3ta+ is tricky but sounds pretty good, and honestly Ableton's built in Analog synth is awesome if you get a rack of multiple playing at once with the unison cranked up.

Don't forget to put something interesting and buzzy in the suboctave! I like to put a pulse or square wave or a synced oscillator an octave or two below the main supersaw and highpass filter it to get the texture without the bass interference.
