I could reproduce neither of the two. Do you have a file C:\ProgramData\odin2\odin2.conf? (Assuming you're on Windows) What does it say?

It says "big_GUI: 0" or something along those lines.

Ok that's weird. This is the old config file, the new one should contain lots more data. It seems like Odin is not able to overwrite this file, perhaps a permissions issue. You could try to delete this file and see if that helps (if it is important to you).

Snap to arbitrary divisions both horizontally and vertically is a must. Many interesting curve shapes also doesn't hurt. Single vs Shift editing modes are a nice thing to have as well (feel free to consult Surge's code )

Yeah grid snapping is on the feature lis! What does "shift editing" do in Surge?

EDIT: I just RTFM'd surges manual Apparently it does the following:

Shift - When dragging a node horizontally, shifts around the nodes following the node being moved, keeping the length of the segment belonging to that node constant.

I deleted the config file and re-installed the plugin. This fixes the resizing issue, but doesn't fix the broken help button unfortunately.

Edit: I've also checked it in Cakewalk, the help button issue persists in Cakewalk as well, so it's not a DAW related issue.

That's probably not it, but could be a problem with Wavewarden's hosting provider.

From what I read, Facebook shot themselves in the foot while updating their router configs, which not only removed them from the external internet, it also prevented their employees & engineers from using internal networks and remote access to resolve the issue. So they had to resort to dispatching engineers in person to a Facebook data center to fix things.

Facebook has shared an official statement on what happened. It confirmed the outage took down its internal tools and systems, "complicating our attempts to quickly diagnose and resolve the problem." That's why it took so long to fix: it's hard to do so when your infrastructure has self-imploded.
