You cleary don't understand what setting a development focus means and how you stick to your core brand identity. Sure, Fender the big company known for eletronic dance music and Hip Hop beats, I'm absolutely 100% positive this is exactly the target market they had in mind when they bought PreSonus. Because that makes sense right, a brand that is know for guitars suddenly shifts to EDM. For reasons, I'm sure you can explain to me in great detail.chk071 wrote: Tue Nov 02, 2021 11:31 amOk, buddy. If you say so, then it's gotta be true.flori89 wrote: Tue Nov 02, 2021 10:32 am No because they will shift development resources to fit into their bigger picture.
Time to switch DAW's, peeps. flori89 from KVR Audio says that Studio One will be limited to use by bass and guitar players very soon. Like all the hundreds of other DAW's which are only usable for guitar and bass.
If this DAW shifts the focus to tracking live instruments and doesn't provide progress for creating music in the box it's basically dead for me and everyone else making electronic music. One product cycle of neglect and it's behind features of Ableton and others. Two cycles and it will look like a stone tablet from ancient times.
