A very shitty move [...]
And a bit desperate when everything is summed
I agree with all of that 100%

You can watch the real thing unfold live on reasonstudios.com instead...

No
I would be surprised if anyone here would expect much of anything at all of you at this point...

(lame nonsense aside that is, of course)

Maybe it was costing too much to make available for free where most downloads were never even used or barely used. Introducing a co-payment is a method for reducing that sort of wasteful behaviour
We are not debating deals here, we're debating removal of a free trial. If it was costly to have free trials then we wouldn't have free trials existing out there at all in this industry yet for some reason all other DAW companies are offering free trials to anyone. In fact many other software is free to trial in other categories. In fact Reason 12 is around 3-5 GB of data.

Native Instruments is offering 6GB of data for free.

https://www.native-instruments.com/en/s ... -versions/

You can trial other stuff from NI which alone is more then 20 GB of data - for free. That's just like one example.
so what - they think a free trial does not suit their business model. $1 is nothing if you are genuinely interested

Apparently, their customers were not "genuinely interested" when they had a free trial running. So now.. they charge $1 in advance when it comes to "genuinely interested" customers. Seems legit.

Post

 Yeah, totally legit - like all the other crap they pull these days...

You are finding it entertaining how I have so much time ony my hands yet at the same time you post at exactly the same rate as I do and not only that - in between you have time to browse my history and make a genius "profile" out of me.
not that it actually matters, I have no need to see your post history. I’d already posted in that other thread so seeing your complaint wasn’t exactly tricky. but keep going with the paranoia: it’s a great look. honest.
