fairlyclose wrote: Mon Nov 15, 2021 3:48 pm I dont understand how the vouchers work as it is much more complex than a simple voucher system. Looking on their website didnt help at all so I was wanting to hear examples of how people had used them with all the stacking and dynamic discounts etc etc.
For the Cash-Back voucher ($199-249)

"Is there a minimum spend?No! You can spend it on whatever you want and do not have to pay anything extra. You can even use the voucher for orders over the voucher value - in this case, you will be charged only the difference between
your total order value and the voucher value."

While for loyalty voucher:

"Please consider the minimum order value of your loyalty voucher:

$25 Loyalty Voucher -> $32 Minimum Order;
$50 Loyalty Voucher -> $75 Minimum Order;
$75 Loyalty Voucher -> $99 Minimum Order;"

How to use them it depends on what you like and need, what plugins you already have because you can get some associated discount , watch the plugins that they daily discount and found the best combination with dinamic discount in the cart and apply it; have also in mind the fact that their new plugins like the actual Amek Channel Strip at $449 gradually go down in prize in about 2 years and that their new plugs have a good discount in the launch like the Amek 9099 was in august at $99 (I don't know if it was possible apply a $75 voucher even)

In this game sometime you win and sometime you loose (you loose anyway, PA gain! XD ) you may buy actually Silo for $14 with the S25 loyalty voucher, I've paid it $29 when it was.... :shrug:
thanks that is a great help - looks like they are effectively worthless secondhand then.
You may have noticed that people give away their loyalty vouchers towards the end of the month - if you want a particular PA plugin, it will probably be on a flash sale about four times a year at $39, so you can use a $25 voucher and get it for $14 (plus VAT).
Actually I was more wanting to get rid of some PA plugins. I have found they are good value at that very low price point but generally dont stack up against the higher end plugins - with some exceptions. Once I bought higher end plugins and started refining my work flow plugins like those from UA arent really worth having. Even DearVR Pro - which is very good - sounds a little artificial and overstated compared to something like Inspirata. however that exaggerated effect can be handy.
like most people I have bought way too many plugins through a combination of GAS and being a cheapskate. I would have been better off buying a few high quality plugins and leaving it at that. But I am not sure that is possible other than in hindsight

Sure if you find a second hand price worth for you, that's the best solution, 2 licences transfer will costs $3.5 per licence

MFXxx wrote: Mon Nov 15, 2021 5:13 pm I never seem to get any vouchers have half a dozen of their products - how do you register for the PA vouchers?
I think I got one in the early days but never again.
In this case is different, to get a loyalty voucher it requires this:
A- If you spent $50 - 299 with us in the last 12 months, we will be sending you a $25 voucher for the next 12 months, every month (Total Voucher Value of $300).

B- If you spent $300 - $599 with us in the last 12 months, we will be sending you a $50 voucher for the next 12 months (Total Voucher Value of $600).

C- If you spent $600 or more with us in the last 12 months, we will be sending you a $75 voucher for the next 12 months (Total Voucher Value of $900).

so it means that if you buy second hand vst and pay the licence transfer costs,the value of that costs are what you effectively spent on their site, that's why even if you already have lot of vst should be you not receive vouchers from them.

Did anyone else try to buy Concept 2 from JRRShop this weekend? I ordered and payed for a license and received a license code, but the code isn't activating. Also, the links for download that were in my invoice were for something called "SimpleMonsters."

I am still waiting to hear back from JRRShop support and/or UncleE and/or Krotos. :/

Well I earn on "Derp" award for this one. It was totally my fault. The license code from JRRShop is actually a code that has to be used on Krotos' web site. Then the web site spits out a license key that you use in the software. The code from JRRShop is not the key to use in the software.

I’ve always been curious about the cutoffs for the voucher values but haven’t been able to find it. What’s the source, please?

PS. I was happy that I got a $75 voucher a couple of months ago for the first time. Now I’m scared 😱

PPS. I reckon they would get more sales if they had a counter in your account of how much you have spent in the last 12 months. As it might push you to spend a bit extra to get to the next stage. Unless it’s $25 > $50. $50 voucher sucks.

My favourite is the Plugin Alliance Townhouse Compressor. They will have their Black Friday sales starting 25th November.

I think it compliments the Waves one nicely in that Waves SSL sounds a bit more transparent and Townhouse adds a nice tonal coloration, IMO. Love using both.
