How about BF-sale on UVI ,.. is there any info ?

I dont remember them going all out cheap for BF - a bit like Melda they seem to have a running sale on one item and then for BF they have the same sort of discount but for everything at once

Ya, the general sale UVI does around this time gives less of a discount than when they have sales on individual products.

So I was considering to deadend Volcano at version 2 and step into f.eks. Shade insteadt

Given a good deal apears obviously ,.. and I manage to check it out a bit deeper first

Dont know what to hope for ,.. guess my limit would be 75 euro ,.. I got VOW2 also

I have Shade and it is a beast for sure - will take me a while to understand it I think. Have you tried apulSoft apQualizr2? It is very powerful with great modulation - easy to understand and at the price you are talking about. Does not have vowel or formant filters but might suit you and the dev is responsive and actively improving it.

Absolutely, but they need to be VERY steep and well-coded ,..

Preferable like apQualizr2 or the old 14 pole E-mu Z-plane stuff

Also the plugin must be able to controll the hole thing in a way that makes sense

Many parameters change in difrent directions and ways, all at the same time

Cherry Audio Voltage Modular (you’d need to own it to use this, not sure if the base version is still free?) has a “Lyrinx Filter” you can buy for $15 which is based on the Synton Syrinx’s formant filter. As you can use VM as an effect you could just use it for that filter if you wanted to.

I don't know much about formant shifting to match human speech. For example, whether the peaks move relative to each other with average pitch of a note for different phonemes/vowel sound. It seems like an interesting topic to investigate

Yep, bought it, even guess I had a discount on it, have not had the time for it yet,..

Would like to prioritate a more advanced plug-in

But certainly it can be used, so bought it for my cherry-lib recently, and the PSP-collection btw

In the spirit of a bargains thread, worth noting that the e-mu ultra proteus also has z-plane filters (more than morpheus) and can usually be picked up for less (although watch out for notoriously dodgy power supplies).
