I coming around to wanting to have an *optional* mixer displayed in the properties section in the lower part of the screen (i.e. not in a seperate Window ) - a bit like the one that Tracktion Faction had, but with unlimited tracks, sends, returns, etc. Also track based EQ would be awesome.
Having said that I'm even more keen to see the timestretch thing (like Sonar's groove clips) so that ramped tempo changes for audio and MIDI can become a reality.
But MOST of all I'd like to see the thoroughly wretched and infamous "note-dropping" MIDI & ReWire bug squashed once and for all
That lot would definitely win me back to Tracktion as my main host (I'm missing it with affection at present, while enjoying Live 4 and Audition to bits!)
Hmmm the optional mixer idea seems to be gathering pace.I think Jules said *if* he was to add a mixer it would be optional.Win win for everyone then I guess.
As for timestretching I am pretty certain Jules will deliver on that.Sonar 4 now uses MPEX3 (as of 4.0.1)and FL5, if I am not mistaken, uses a z - plane elastique alogorithm for timestretching, so I think Jules will improve this area in T2.
As for note dropping and rewire issues...with the total overhaul of the midi features in T2 very likely now, any issues of that nature will hopefully be a thing of the past.
I read a post of yours some months back about the quality of one the Golden plugs from Kjaerhaus, so I thought let me try this out...I think you said some thing like "..I was not expecting that" I assumed you meant that in a good way.
Anyway today I tried the demo of the Golden EQ and my jaw dropped! It is suuuuuuuperb!
