Once again, I had Mulab sit in the background and do nothing whilst I watched yt videos, then opened Mulab, hit play and it crashed, I didn't even touch anything besides space bar. It's very difficult to spot what's causing the trouble.

Thx for the MuTools log. Pls also send me the corresponding Windows log.

It seems I'm getting it more often, just got another error. Do you want me to keep sending reports regarding this problem?

Post

Yes please. Thank you.

I am still trying out the new clip features and really enjoying the new version, but I have a question to the new composer module.

I often use mux as multi-out VST in reaper. Looking at the new module I am not sure how that would be possible, as it seems only the master output is accessible. Or am I missing something obvious?

There is an option to change the number of final outputs, see: https://www.mutools.com/info/M8/docs/mu ... ences.html
I cannot guarantee it will be present in Mulab 9 too, that is a question to Jo.

Ah sorry, I think I misunderstood you. If you want to increase the number of outputs of a particular composer then there is a composer modular area button for each composer (near the keyboard), and if you want to increase the number of outputs then you just add more of them :tu:

Oh thank you, now I can see the additional outputs show up in the project modular area as well. Perfect

Hello to everyone,
this is my first post in the forum.

I only discovered MuLab a few days ago, although I thought I really knew all DAWs on the Windows platform. Coming from Usine Hollyhock (also a brilliant tool in its own way, in my opinion), I was looking for a DAW that was also modular and flexible, but more intuitive and more direct in supporting the musical flow, even more stable in handling VST plugins, and an equally good support for my MIDI hardware (Fantom 8 and MODX 6).

I played intensively with the MuLab 8 demo for a few days now and found it very suitable for me. Only here and there I thought "hmmm, if it also had this or that feature, it would simply be the perfect DAW in my eyes..."

Now I come across the forum and the MuLab 9 thread and realize that MuLab 9 seems to include all of what I still perceived when testing version 8 as a gap to the perfect DAW. I am thrilled and can hardly wait for version 9 to appear :-) :tu:

Today I am buying version 8 and would be happy to test Public Beta 9 when it becomes available.

Make sure to grab a copy of Mulib which is located in the top post of this forum - there are some great user made devices there!

Thank you very much for the hint! :tu:

Bug: can't change step sequencer patterns, when it is not playing.

Post

yep, confirmed too.

M9.0.5 available with further enhanced Live Matrix.
It also fixes that step sequencer pattern selection bug.
Thx for reporting that.
