Response - "I have forwarded your suggestion to our developers for consideration".

I like to believe it was actually printed out, and they physically scrunched it up before throwing a great cross-office shot into the basketball hoop they have installed over the trash.
Great. One thing I really appreciate about reFX is fast reply to support tickets. Never seen any faster support. Even their ticketing system is nice and easy.

Not for the Nexus4 upgrade price though. I only have Nexus4. ;)

It is pretty clear $99 is the Nexus4 upgrade price and it will not change, so guess it is just a time waste to debate on this topic. I fully agree that the upgrade price is not justified but gotta move on my friend, the early the better.

As the upgrade price is 50% of what I paid for Nexus 3, no upgrade for me.

And I meant keep the feedback flowing to reFX customer support. If they receive enough, maybe they will rethink this....

Even their free christmas gift expansion for their loyal customers is Nexus4 only this year.

Fair enough.

Yes, I will share anything that could be a useful addition or improvement. Looks like they are open about suggestions, except pricing of course. The last thing we would want is Nexus5 in another 2 years. Otherwise I will be in the same situation as you guys, lol.

From what I understand, the inability to use the latest expansions in Nexus3 is what hurts more than the $99 upgrade.

If they want to sell new packs, they will have to reduce friction and get everyone to upgrade to the latest version.

Post

I suppose it's the other way they are thinking. They will keep releasing Nexus4 packs and perhaps users will eventually make the move.

Anyway, sorry, but I wouldn't want to comment further on this. There's no point to discuss this anymore IMHO. It's all up to reFX. If their business is impacted, which we won't know, they will do something about it, but chances are negligible if at all.

From what I've seen in past years, he'd ban first then worry later :hihi:
Don't they need to automatically refund those banned clients?
I'd imagine so, but I've read reports on reddit and other forums about licenses just getting pulled - no refund. With them using refx cloud now, it's even easier to get yourself blacklisted.

A kind request: please have Bartek do a video on all the new features/improvements of Nexus 4. I think he could demonstrate how the upgrade may be worth its price :tu:

Bartek does videos for Vengeance, not for reFX. Different companies.

He did a video on Nexus 3 (with over 200,000 views), I don't see why he couldn't do one on Nexus 4.

Post

Bartek is great, a nice guy and his bursts of enthusiasm are very funny. Anyway if he would claim that N4 is a great update and start giggeling he wouldn't come over as trustworthy as before anymore imo.

I guess I didn't see that one...I think he works for Manuel, so we will see.
