Whats in the future of Grid?

I use it all the time. Its so much fun to do things you can’t achieve with any other tool except Max or Pd, but its faster and way, way easier to grab than Max or Pd…

I could happily make entire compositions using just the Grid. Having the full Sampler module in there is excellent. Since they added in the Wavetable Osc, I am set. And as you say, great for MPE...

For me, the Grid is one of the best tools available in any DAW. And the workflow is easily the best of any modular environment. After some initial learning curve, it is as fast as most regular fixed architecture VST synths. And it integrates with the whole Bitwig system with polyphony, MPE, voice stacking, modulation, etc.

Apparently Bitwig is workign on a new Plugin Format called Clap (together with U-HE) and others. So I guess eventually you might be able to export plugins from The Grid.

Just my opinion: But I still think that Bitwig is too technically correct in the way it wants you to do things. I sometimes just find it too slow to use and set things up.
