A couple of weeks ago i had a discount code for U-He in my Bitwig profile, but it's not there anymore... was there a limited timeframe for the offer? =(

Yeah, must have been a timed promo

After you add new presets by using your Linux file system, you can do a manual rescan of the presets by right-clicking on the directory tree inside the plugin's preset browser, and choosing the "refresh" command.

the user has no need for that second MFM2 folder
That's a framework convention we are using.
It might not strictly be necessary for MFM2, but we have plugins that contain more than just one plugin, e.g. Filterscape, Uhbik, Repro or Zebra.

In those cases there will be folders for each included plugin, like this:

.u-he/Zebra2/Presets/Zebra2
.u-he/Zebra2/Presets/Zebralette
.u-he/Zebra2/Presets/Zebrify

In case of Repro, the plugin started of with a single plugin, and only later got a second plugin added. Without that convention, we would have run into some trouble when trying to add preset folders for the second plugin.
Thanks for the tip, us reaper users should auto-right-click everywhere, just because :hihi:

I think the convention has too many attendees :scared: I'm sure you have professional/coding reasons, but I'm wondering if there's a few spare tires from win/mac, that linux a filesystem/preset-manager doesn't need? Wouldn't it be less work to manage 25% fewer folders? Even the Users-Presets folders have an extra attendee folder inside, so the % is even higher. Maybe Abique could look into that for the linux versions, so at least users could (perhaps optionally?) reduce their folder count. And why is the 'Local' folder seen in the presets area not just using the plugin's name, that is seen by the filesystem? :?

.u-he/Zebra2/Presets-Zebra2
.u-he/Zebra2/Presets-Zebralette
.u-he/Zebra2/Presets-Zebrify
.u-he/Zebra2/Presets-ZRev
.u-he/Uhbik/Presets-Runciter
.u-he/Uhbik/Presets-Uhbik-A
.u-he/Uhbik/Presets-Uhbik-D
.u-he/Uhbik/Presets-Uhbik-F
.u-he/Uhbik/Presets-Uhbik-G
.u-he/Uhbik/Presets-Uhbik-P
.u-he/Uhbik/Presets-Uhbik-Q
.u-he/Uhbik/Presets-Uhbik-S
.u-he/Uhbik/Presets-Uhbik-T
.u-he/Filterscape/Presets-Filterscape
.u-he/Filterscape/Presets-FilterscapeQ6
.u-he/Filterscape/Presets-FilterscapeVA
.u-he/Repro-1/Presets-Repro-1
.u-he/Repro-1/Presets-Repro-5

That's 18 fewer folders, just think how the universal mouseclick counter
could be minimized?

Hope you all have great Christmas and NewYears celebrations,
and then peaceful recoveries :hyper:

If you need to edit presets in the Linux filesystem, may I again suggest using the humble right-click menu of the plugin's preset browser? :)
Just select the folder (or the preset), right-click and choose "open in Finder/Explorer/(orwhateveritscalledonLinux)".
This will take you directly to the desired folder, saving you lots of mouse-clicks.

Thank you for this great free update. Owning Zebra and MFM since ages. Can't believe I'm still using them and that there still updated (not 'only' maintained) in 2021. Crazy money value. Great company, great plugins. Both are in regular use.

This update is frickin awesome.

Happy Christmas ☃️
It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

So I downloaded the CLAP from github. Built the host and launched it, following the exact instructions from the readme for Windows. I get the following error when launching MFM2(x64).clap... "Unable to resolve entry point 'clap_entry' in ' "C:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\CLAP\\MFM2(x64).clap" '". I then compare the MFM 2.5 dll to MFM 2.5 .clap and their sizes are exactly the same to the byte. And ideas?

It's totally possible that Alexandre pushed a new version with a new entry point. I'm currently elsewhere, but there was talk about an adjustment in order to know about certain extensions on load time rather than instantiation time.

(our rather blunt "coming out" with this beta version certainly fulfilled its purpose to gather a lot wider interest in the industry, and fresh input that Alexandre is now incorporating. Luckily such changes are rather minimal at this time, and while they may require code changes to stay compatible, those changes are mostly one-liners. Can't wait for CLAP 1.0 which would be a stable ABI and thus global compatibility)

It's nice having LFOs in a delay. I wish my other delays had that.

Hello Urs,
Thanks for the quick reply. Is it possible you could send me (or post) a .clap plugin that works with the current version on github?
Thanks.

Post

Sure, but I won’t be able to reach any of my developers over the holidays. The example plug-ins in the CLAP repo should work though.

Very nice GUI, very much fun to play with it. Thanks a lot for this update.

Works like a charm on MacOS 11.5.2 with Logic 10.6.3

Maybe I missed it. Is there a possibility to easily solo/mute single/multiple delay lines? It would be helpful for example to tune in the filter settings for a delay line. Especially in busy settings.

I'd also love to have volume faders after the filter. I kinda see that where the delay line meters are, in the lower middle. With some solo/mute buttons ;)

Hehehe, yeah, mute buttons and stuff were planned, but we decided to stick to this "basic" version for now. We can add more things later based on feedback and ideas we get from you guys out there.

A Big +1 for mute switches, please.

Ha!
just clicked through to buy and page is unavailable :-O
Must still be in holiday mode ;-)

One thing I'd like to see perhaps later on down the road is a dry/wet mix for 1&2/3&4 post FX (maybe hidden somewhere in the mod matrix). It would be nice to fade things like granular pitch shifting in & out.
