First of all, Jo, thank you so much for creating this awesome software and for keeping the workflow of Mux! I loveeee it and it looks great!

Few things that I notice on the first use (let me know if I'm just missing something) :

1. The parameters in the main parent window are not controlable / automatable from Reaper(?)
2. Automation doesn't seem to work (using Reaper as a host).
3. Undo option for duplicating modules (currently I don't see undo state after duplicating modules)
4. Copying modules with ability to keep the routings to the copied modules will be sweet. (possible already?)
5. "New Mux from selection" this option should be from drop down list when right clicking on a selected module and not just in an empty area (imho it will be more intuative, because this is what I first tried)
6. In the list panel, it will be nice if we could "tick" what we want to see, so we could see more folders at the same time, like folders: VST synths, VST effects, MUX Presets (as folders that can fully collapse), for a quicker workflow.

** EDIT: another one :D
7. It will be more than nice if we could drag and drop a module/vst on a wire (highlight the wire when moving above it), so it will auto connect the dropped module between the two connected modules. - somehow I tried this intuitively..it will be great workflow improvement.

Best regards

Bug (?):

1. two instances of diva in parallel
2. one is turned off
3. Reaper is playing a midi
4. by selecting the inactive Diva - sound is not playing (even though there is another active Diva vsti)
5. by selecting the active Diva - sound is playing.
6. it also cause notes to get stuck sometimes..

EDIT: I've just noticed, even with one instance of VSTi (no matter which), when I select another module (no matter which), the vsti doesn't play.

Have you got (under Project) "Automatic MIDI Input Focus" on?

:o :o :o

oops
you are right

but now when it's unticked, I can't hear the parallel synth :X (???)

I found the right solution (no sound from parallel modules)... ->

1. Project button->
2. MIDI input channel targets
3. Set channel 1 to "project MUX modular"

it took me time though..(maybe it should be default)

hello
Mux 9.016plugin tested with Cubase AI11 (last version)
Matrix loop: live sync mode set so Sync / next Bar same for each loop and scene
expected behaviour: loop start at next bar when clicked.
result: loop start is off, sometimes start at beat 4, sometimes beat 3 or 2, no matter sync mode
click engaged for both Cubase and Mulab, seems to follow the tempo, but not starting together (kind of random offset)
Did I miss something about sync mode?

Post

Did the same test in Bitwig 3.2.8. Seems to work as expected, click are in sync, loops are starting in sync after the specified number of bars.

Back to Cubase, tried again with tempo map, no tempo map, same thing: Mulab seems to run in parallel, but not really in sync, at least not starting at the same time.

Post

Back to Cubase 11 for Matrix test:
Host Sync option set to "beat lock" and "sync to host position" seems to solve the problem, at long as you don't stop Mulab main "play" button. If stopped this way and started again, sometimes loops in the matrix start at beat 2 or 3 or 4.

You have to click and hold near the top of track you want to move in m9, then the track can be moved as normal.

ahhh, yes, it does work... my fault.
thanx a lot.

Thanks for all feedback here on the forum and via email :tu:

The upper part of the image here is MUX 8 with a patch loaded.
Screenshot 2022-01-12 115358.png
The lower part is the same patch loaded into MuLab Plugin 9. MUX 8 looks much more streamlined. It would be nice if there was an option to have a similar view in MuLab Plugin 9 as in MUX 8 (the Settings star button could have the option, as that's always visible). Not pressing.

Even less importantly, but in case it's unintended:

Again, the upper track is MUX 8 and the lower MuLab Plugin 9. Has something been missed on what's communicated to the host?

awesome ideas! :tu:

I tested with Cubase 8.0 successfully. Great job, Jo! :-)
Only:
1) When having a instrument’s (VST or MUX) panel open in MuLab-PlugIn and click on the rack-fader, the instrument disappears.
2) I enabled sync on beat but have the feeling, that the very first beat does not fit. MuLab is earlier than Cubase. After that it syncs well.
3) How to record in MuLab-PlugIn? When I press the Record-button, MuLab starts, but Cubase does not. So I can record in MuLab only without hearing Cubase.
