If you had to stick to one DAW, which one would it be?

you were correct regarding some of his posts being useful, he was a fairly knowledgeable guy, so it's a shame he felt the need to burn his own bridges

If your saying Cubase is not a professional Daw, then I have no idea what you would consider a professional daw to need?EnochLight wrote: Wed Feb 16, 2022 12:37 pmoqion wrote: Wed Feb 16, 2022 5:49 amCubase is a professional DAW.EnochLight wrote: Fri Feb 04, 2022 2:28 pm I'm actually pretty shocked Cubase is as popular as it is here at KVR. Is it because it doesn’t have OTT?
That can be arranged you know...

Not that I can speak on this matter.
I immediately uninstalled Cubase in disgust when I found out it did not have a dancing anime character plug-in like real daws do.

Also I honestly think the more attention we give antic the more successful he was at his little racist stunt. I’m sure that’s partially why the other thread was locked.
Instead we should discuss important things, like the great questions he left us with in his wake here in this thread.
Truly. The first KVRian brave enough to wonder, “what’s the best DAW”

I kinda wish KVR would leave up the posts in question though. Going back through his last 5 or so posts there's nothing crazy, not that I don't believe that he posted racist stuff, but it's always weird not to see the damage trail.whyterabbyt wrote: Wed Feb 16, 2022 12:05 pm No, the removal of someone who knowingly went out of their way to make a display of breaking forum rules, and being a racist c**t.

True, but KVRs reputation is hurt if it allows such stuff to be visible, no matter what our curiosity may be. Audio Companies won't want their Ads posted around some dude yelling racist shit at clouds.machinesworking wrote: Wed Feb 16, 2022 10:25 pmI kinda wish KVR would leave up the posts in question though. Yup. That's what you agreed to when you signed up, so if you've suddenly decided its not acceptable to you, feel free to leave quietly. ie without posting racist shit.Serhii Kot wrote: Thu Feb 17, 2022 8:38 am ok then, let them decide what we can say(or read) and what we can’t. sounds about right.
An idiot on Set Theory:

Can you give an example? I like Bitwig workflow much better than Ableton. And the main factor in that is a proper mix view, the Session/Arranger in one screen and better use of the upper half of the screen when working with devices.antic604 wrote: Thu Jan 27, 2022 1:23 pmWith Bitwig, they're brilliant and innovative, but seem to be completely oblivious to wider user-base needs and thus neglect the basic workflow features ...
