Beta 2: preferences seem to be missing / not copied over (e.g. previous zoom size, packs location etc)
Already mailed support.

Same. Custom keyboard shortcuts torched as well. Interface preferences reset. I have to assume all preferences were blasted.

Same here. Thanks for the clearly visible, big letters "warning notice" in the release notes, bitwig team...not.

Yeah, same here.
I directly uninstalled Beta 2 and reported the bug to support.
All preferences are still there in the normal version and in Beta 1, so the error is not that prefs are blasted or wiped, but that they aren't read by Beta 2.
Windows 10 that is.

I reported the issue earlier as well. Seems to be a cross-platform issue. I'm on a Mac. Nice to know the preferences might still be there.

The preferences aren't wiped... if you open Beta 1 or 4.1 they will still be there. THey are just not seen by Beta 2

It's a BETA, so I expect stuff like this as normal ...

Here is the response from Bitwig support.

it does not destroy any settings, it just does not carry over the settings from the previous versions.

in poly mode multiple merge input can be active at the same time so a sequencer can be much simpler

so IMO this is the simplest way of MIDI channel-based chord splitter (pattern generator) IMO...
