Triad is good but as walter said, go get biome and triad, biome is the mb version of triad. Also check out spec ops, like using that one.squibs wrote: Thu Mar 03, 2022 2:59 pm Can anyone recommend the plugin alliance triad for 29.99?
Also, does gig performer 4 ever get discounted? Failing that, any keenly priced alternative?

I can't upgrade my license and NI support said to me:medienhexer wrote: Thu Mar 03, 2022 2:22 pmNFR is Not For Resale. You will be the last owner because you can’t sell it. That’s it. I have upgraded NFR before. Check the webshop to verify you can upgradeVleker wrote: Thu Mar 03, 2022 1:07 amRegarding NFR licenses, apparently they can't be used for commerical stuff. Only for demonstration etc. I actually won a license for Komplete 13 in a remix competition but it's NFR so according to NI I can't properly use it (or upgrade it).BBFG# wrote: Wed Mar 02, 2022 11:49 pmJust curious of how many months back you registered it?Mumdad wrote: Wed Mar 02, 2022 10:19 pmToo late for the promo now but I bought them a few months back. You get one code and it's NFR. I kind of regret buying them to be honest, especially with the recent discontinuation stuff.alvfaria wrote: Sun Feb 27, 2022 1:17 am Anybody here bought the KOMPLETE Classics Collection promo at Plugin Boutique?
It's one redeem code for all or a serial per plugin.
Also, who thinks NI will discontinue these synths after this offer?![]()
I know their regular policy for awhile now has been to not allow any transfer for the first ninety days from registering it. And there's no indication otherwise until you get to the "transfer license" page to see what you can transfer. This being a "Komplete" product, it makes sense that it would be one serial number and that they're inextricably seen as one product. Is there anything on the website denoting it as a strict NFR though?
(I bought the 'Classics' to combine with selling my Maschine2 Studio, so I don't plan on even registering anyway. Just want to keep updated on the info I'll need to pass on to the next owner.)
''Any Products from Native Instruments labeled or otherwise provided to a user as "NFR" shall only be used for demonstration, testing and evaluation purposes. NFR Products must not be used for commercial purposes, and must not be resold or transferred.''
This is a license I won in a remix competition sponsored by Native Instruments.
Edit: reached out to NI support and they helped me out. Now I'm able to upgrade.

Bargains are a luxury problem. Some people are not able anymore to buy Soundtoys plugins at all.
If you plan on purchasing your first Universal Audio hardware, you can get a free additional plugin. Just send a PM.

In searching my accounts at both PiB and NI, I've found nothing saying it's either a "promotional" or NFR license though. And if anyone can point me to that, I'd appreciate it. Simply for my own edification since I have no current plan on registering or keeping it. Maschine has many presets that include Massive and I feel this was something to be sold with my M2 Studio to sweeten the deal.
I've pretty much reached an "end of relationship" with NI and just doing my best attempt at mitigating my separation from them.

Wow. what a pompous and arrogant statement. They would have been better off not saying anything. This is a product aimed at music creators , the very people who have seen their output devalued over and over again in the last 30 years. We're at a point now when even though there is more video production and more need for sync licensing of music, RF sites have even offered subscription plans to content creators that further undercut revenue streams for music makers. In the face of a pandemic period with less gigs and stingy payouts by streaming services , here comes a company declaring their products so precious that "discounted pricing serves only to erroneously devalue the product" . Well, we all have a choice, and here is a company that I would never supportdeskew wrote: Thu Mar 03, 2022 4:58 pmhttps://gigperformer.com/when-does-gig- ... o-on-sale/squibs wrote: Thu Mar 03, 2022 2:59 pm Also, does gig performer 4 ever get discounted? I don't think we are arrogant - quite the opposite - we are honest and totally transparent about our business practices. Someone asked if GP was ever discounted and I answered honestly. You might not like the answer but that doesn't make us arrogant.
We are two touring musicians who developed a product that addressed functionality we felt was lacking in other products. We use it ourselves and we sell it at a price that we think is fair given its features, ongoing updates and customer support. Our customers recognize that value and we're very grateful for that.
Unfortunately (and I mostly blame that race to zero), many people seem to feel that they are entitled to a discount.
You absolutely have a choice. If you think Gig Performer is too expensive or otherwise unfairly priced, then duh... don't buy it. Nobody is forcing you. That is absolutely your prerogative and the benefit of the free market/competition.Kurdish Mayfield wrote: Thu Mar 03, 2022 8:58 pm Well, we all have a choice, and here is a company that I would never support

In my opinion,an honest answer regarding discounts would have been "no" and maybe a short elaboration. What you said regarding sales was
"Our product will never be temporarily sold at absurdly low prices just because some random Friday got a color prefix, or due to a made-up Hallmark holiday, National Pancake Day or even if someone proves that the earth really is flat and that the moon really is made of green cheese!"
Thats arrogance to me. The definition of arrogance is "pride with contempt of others".
You also state "we feel strongly that discounted pricing serves only to erroneously devalue the product".
Thats pompous to me. The definition of pompous is " Characterized by excessive self-esteem or exaggerated dignity; pretentious"
Nearly every single manufacturer of every single product known to man has a sale from time to time. The sales dont "devalue" the product and customers looking for sales arent "entitled". Bread is on sale in the market today. Cars on sale in a car lot and music software from companies that continually update and innovate are also on sale. Your basic clientele has been hit hard during the last 2 years and your philosophy seems detached from reality and cynical
Again Its not that you dont have sales thats bothersome but you consciously choose to make this mean spirited statement in the link below that is stunning to me
https://gigperformer.com/when-does-gig- ... o-on-sale/
Anyway this is just to clarify how I see it. I dont argue with folks on line these days so no further response from me. I'm not a customer of yours and wouldnt buy from you given the attitude as I see it
