It can be a huge workflow improvement if when saving a "Browser preset" it will remember which folders were opened. (Save the exact same state as it was saved...)
possible?

I don't know if this was mentioned before (apologies for not reading 42 pages).
The Switch Composer<-> Editor is very cleverly implemented. What seems to be a workflow slowdown is the "Live Play Matrix" button which is located on the opposite side of the area where most of the workflow actions occurs:
Composer-Edit/Matrix/Timeline/Tracks.
A similar scenario is in Bitwig and the switch are conveniently located at the Track area.
In here it's even more important (valuable) because MuLab allows the Matrix AND the Timeline to work together! And so, back and forth (Matrix/Timeline) is more common than in Live or Bitwig and the Mouse milage becomes a big part of the equation.
I couldn't find a shortcut to toggle the Matrix...
Overall, this new version is just beyond fantastic!

Is there a learn function for triggering the live matrix? As far as I know you can only start clips with midi notes. It would be nice to do this also with the computer keyboard. Something like the learn function in Ableton Live, with which you can use any command to start an action, would be great.

recording audio, the 'part property panel' that has gain etc options, is greyed out and unuseable until i click somewhere else first. could it be changed so that it is useable immediately after recording ends?

I would have thought that this is one occasion when it would be best to follow the Bitwig/Ableton pattern and just use the Tab key to flip between states. As far as I can tell, the Tab key isn't used for anything else at this point in the program.

Implemented in the next M9.0.30.humanboeing wrote: Sun Feb 27, 2022 1:51 pm I have a drag and drop idea: dragging and dropping a module from modular area into rack desk could result in the same behaviour as it is with the browser, i.e. new rack appears and the module is inserted into the 1st slot.

With the next M9.0.30 you can assign a shortcut key to Show/Hide Live Matrix and Time Line.liquidsound wrote: Tue Mar 08, 2022 1:01 am What seems to be a workflow slowdown is the "Live Play Matrix" button which is located on the opposite side of the area where most of the workflow actions occurs:

The ability to run the Matrix and the Timeline Clips at the same time it's just a stunning "Feature".
It would benefit greatly if there was a way (may there is?) to launch both, Matrix and Timeline, at the same time.
Also, once a Matrix clip is playing it is not possible to additionally launch the Timeline to play its Clips as well.
All those option would bring that "Feature" to a full power of use.
The Matrix gives the advantage to add Harmony, polyrhythms, Arps etc. without messing up with the Timeline clips.
Just a thought....

(in fact any modifier will do it)
