Same DAW - learning a new one is tedious. I can't see any fancy features being worth that excruciating amount of effort and headache.
FInance - nah, if I want an expensive one nowadays I can afford it. I probably couldn't really afford Cubase when I first bought it in 1989 but that didn't stop me then, and it doesn't now. TBH it was never a consideration. If you want to make music you need a good DAW, end of. And that might mean any of the DAWs if that works for whoever.

My DAW of choice, Studio One, was affected by financial factors. That's why I bought it second hand from here.
Money is no longer an issue, but I don't feel like changing

I paid $199 for Logic many years ago and not another dime since. Even though that's by far the best bargain of any DAW I currently own, it's the one I'd choose at any price.
Logic Pro | LUNA Pro | OB-X8 | Prophet 6 | OB-6 | Rev2 | TEO-5 | Pro 3 | SE-1X | Minitaur | Deepmind 12D | Integra-7 | TR-1000 | Analog RYTM mk2 | Digitakt 2 | TD-3 MO | TD-3 | Maschine+

"Is this question open to people who don't use REAPER or Cakewalk?"
LOL! I'm on a Mac. I wish I could check-out Cakewalk. Wasn't that originally a Roland product?
