I haven’t bought any Cherry Audio synths, but I’ve demoed some in the past. Overall I really like the sound of this one and the amount of presets. I agree with the sentiment that the GUI is cluttered..I also think it’s a CPU hog. With that being said, I can’t resist at $39 with all those presets..a lot of which are very good. I pair it with Cymatics Origin and I get an instant vintage feel.

Maybe it depends on what size screen and res somebody is viewing the plugin on. I think that it looks pretty good and sharp on my 4K display, maxed out to the largest size.

I think you are onto something: I use it on a 30" at 2560x1900.at 100% it does look very cluttered. but at full width, at 150% it looks pretty nice.

I don't think the resolution is what makes it look cluttered/cramped. It's the choice of using the same hue/color for the knob/button labels and the frames. Additionally every frame having the label of it being a MOD which is kinda obvious anyway, so completely unnecessary... if you want to label every MOD source that way, you should do it in a more subtle way... just IMHO obviously.
Like the plugin anyway

I wanna love this synth but why does it CLICK so much? It's like every oscillator has a zero crossing problem? Anyone figure out how to fix this?
