Just wanted to check if it's in general, or just me. It's getting to a point where it's too much to report every little click that causes a crash, or to nail it down.

Thanks!

Ok, thanks. For me, often enough to single something out, it happens when I click a generator lane on and off.

Take notes in a text document, organize it then send it to melda. I know the feeling of being inundated with bugs but someone has to report them - particularly in a beta. Thanks.

Thanks Hexspa, I feel the same, even if I'm not quite as diligent as you are (and a big thanks to you for that!). I have reported what I've been able to replicate, and have an additional report to add to that. For now, I reverted to non-beta, to work out if there was anything on my side, but it seems all is fine.

What do we have to lose by reporting? I feel like, "Am I annoying the devs?" But, hey, I figure they only stand to gain. All they lose is a bit of time if someone's report is invalid. The upside is when a new customer tries their wares, our pestering might earn them a better experience. Thank you for your service :)

Livelihood even....

I've had no issues so far, no difference from latest stable v15. In fairness, I wouldn't really consider myself in the category of "pushing it" though.

I get crashes here when disabling and enabling generator modules - especially ones with lots of oscillators (Like the additive module)

I am thinking this thread might be related to this one.... (which indicate that the solution to this issue may have actually been found) ...... keep an eye out for the next update (Maybe 16.00e)

The changes for MSoundFactory 16 (beta) include:
Big optimizations for various algorithms from load/saving to MSoundFactory voice processing.
That kind of work is likely to introduce some crashes. Please report any crashes that you encounter and include the necessary steps to reproduce them.

I just received notice that 16.00e will resolve this. I will get back to the beta when that comes out. Keep reporting other bugs in the meantime.

Update to my previous; I can infrequently manage to crash MSoundFactory by aggressive preset switching. No obvious pattern to it occurring, but sounds like it might be resolved in the coming update. Nice!
