Other options would be to include all presets but give more weighting to user/favorite presets, or only use favorites.This would likely work best for MXXX do to the number of presets.
If randomize is just using existing presets for the overall parameter max/min values and user presets are unlikely to make much difference, a cool mode for MXXX would be to randomly mix modules from existing presets, but keep their settings intact. Combine a reverb, delay, autopan from 3 existing MXXX presets.
Also I'm curious if MXXX randomizes based on the parameter values of modules in it's own presets, or only uses values for presets saved for each plugin/module? I.e. if a user has 100 MXXX presets with a delay, but only 10 presets for the delay itself does it only use those?
Perhaps individual plugins could use values from when those are included in MXXX presets as well.
The feature is already great as is, just throwing out a few ideas to expand on it.
