I'm sure people can point to other delays that can do the same or similar (I no doubt have some of them) or who was first with what feature, but it's fun (for me anyway) to get inspired by something new. I can't see any big regrets later on for the price.
Perfectly valid point. I guess I didn't even consider this myself since using Bitwig it's not an issue. If you can automate it, then you can modulate it, but I totally get that it should have some additional modulation for other DAW's.
