No whatever you're talking about wasn't my claim.Hans25 wrote: Fri Jul 22, 2022 10:10 pmWell maybe it wasnt your claim. I cant find the quote right now. Anyway I let's try to be constructive. I took the next example from the top. D-fusion is a very good example but because I mentioned the word "plugin" you just take that out of the context and now claim there isnt any issue because he also sells plugins. Then re-read my post.
Im not obligated to make an empirical research from every post here to argue even though you would probably not be satisfied even if it was a scientific research team that found there was an issue.
I didn't take anything you said out of context - I looked at the facts. D-fused seems to me to be a pretty bad example because the last four posts they've made have all had plugins in them, and some of them don't seem to have any non-plugins at all. From each of their last four posts I can find at or near the top of the list: Nomad Factory BlueVerb DRV-2080, a reverb. Chromaphone I'm sure you know. Pulsar Audio's Mu, a compressor. Xhun Audio Kickbeat, a drum synth. Plus a bunch of AAS synths and Air Music Tech plugins*.
And I would be entirely satisfied if you bothered to add up posts from the last seven days - that's why I suggested it. I appreciate your intention to be constructive, but that should also include an assumption that people are arguing in good faith.
The problem is that you have put forward the idea that the reason the No chat thread feels cluttered is because of people posting about presets and sample packs. I assumed that was true until I actually checked. As a result, I don't think it is true, and I think that if you actually look through them you'll realise that isn't what annoys you.
*I have a different problem with D-fused, which is that they have 45 posts and a website that gives no physical address and no name of anyone connected with it, all of which are red flags to me - but we're talking about a different thing, which is a rule in the No chat thread saying that no one can post deals about presets, which would not stop someone like D-fused posting here.
