Hi folks, is there a good way of generating virtual cash in plugin boutique? I'm looking at some bundles which are quite a lot of money, and wondering if I could actually save by buying some cheaper stuff first to generate the wallet thingy cash ?

They are always full price there while many other places will offer some sort of discount. Sometimes they have exclusives which are pretty good though. So unless you got a thing for PB I would look other places first.

I think there have been a few sales where PB has offered double rewards points on all purchases, but that doesn't happen often (and even double points is still a relatively small bonus overall).

Check 'My Products' in your account and make sure you've reviewed them all (just stars ratings) only 20p per each rating, but it mounts up, I'd totally forgotten about this, checked my account and added over £2 to my virtual cash just by doing some quick reviews. Not much, but every little.

Seems interesting but I didn't like the demos on the product page, so went with Lindell 50 Series. Even though I already have the Acustica Computer Music API EQ and the Trackcomp2 API compressor.

Low cpu usage could make Tails a convenient supplement to Adaptiverb. Or budget alternative....

Picked up LO-FI-AF and Bass Mint, thanks. Noticed both of those didn't install any factory presets when using the installation manager. Getting the single plugin installers from the product pages fixed it. Worth watching out for.

Yeah, a known problem apparently with the current PA installer. I've worked my way through the single installers and backed up the presets folder so I have a copy in case they go again.

Scaler 2 has never been on sale for less than $49 by itself. Scaler 1 was briefly available for $29 in November 2019, a few months before Scaler 2 was released, but after buying the upgrade to Scaler 2 I believe it still came out to a bit over $49. So I wouldn't hold your breath for a major discount soon, even at Black Friday.

It's in some semi-decent bundle deals at PB, though, like the one you mentioned. I'd actually grab the Scaler 2 + Lifeline Expanse Lite bundle, which is $59 - basically you get Expanse Lite for free.
