Sometimes filters improperly show straight line and back to normal after changing the frequency, I also encountered what's below, not sure about the cause.

I can repeat the straight line = flat spectrum when the filter is switched off.
Or does it also happen in other cases?
Any hint when such unexpected comb spectrum occurs?

Flat spectrum happens when filter is switched off and when switched on doesn't show proper spectrum.
As for the comb one, I couldn't replicate it and it happened only once, I'll report clues if I find any.

How do you set live sync mode per clip? Last time I remember it was right click on the clip's play button.

Select a clip, then the options are in the clip property panel at the bottom of the composer area.

No big issue, but drag & dropping a MuComposer file onto the live matrix view creates a scene (or does nothing if dropped under an existing scene) instead of asking to replace the composers.

MuLab 9 is 99% ready.
it's just that i'm having some practical issues with the final release steps.
Working on it.

Toggling rack desk via a shortcut does not lit (or unlit) the rack desk icon on top panel.

I am looking forward to the release of Mulab 9 App and Mulab 9 Plugin. Mux is one reason I like Mulab.
In Mulab 9 if you have the Mulab Plugin let’s say with ten tracks as a module in Mux will the module then have ten input jacks?

In MuLab 9 each composer module is like a separate MuLab 8.
So each composer module can have as many outputs as you want and you can send as many tracks to a single output as you want. So, if you want you can have 12 tracks all sending to the single same output.

Suppose I have three instruments in Mux and want to record them on three different tracks in Composer. Can I have three audio input jacks on the Composer module, a track for each of the three instruments? Each input jack to be linked to a separate track in the Composer. I can then record and play and edit the audio in the tracks as desired.
Are you saying in Mux that if I want to have three separate tracks then I need to have three Composers modules. The editing of a single track on three Composers will mess up the workflow.
I suspect I am overlooking something very basic here.
Previously when working with Bidule I would use it as an instrument on a track in Studio One or in Cubase. But being able to have a module with tracks and an input jack for each track for more complex setups will increase flexibility and visually easily see the routing of what is going on.

Just note that in MuLab audio recording is done using the Audio Recorder module.
When you add an Audio Track then in fact an Audio Recorder module is added into that composer module and linked to that track so that the recordings of that recorder get on that track.
That said, you can indeed connect each of these audio recorders to an audio input of the composer and that way these recorders will record what's coming into the composer.
You can also record from other audio sources inside that composer, or record directly from the main audio inputs.
No you can have 3 audio tracks in the same composer that each listen to a different audio input of that composer. (or any other module with audio outputs in that composer)Are you saying in Mux that if I want to have three separate tracks then I need to have three Composers modules. Well, maybe it's relevant to emphasize that MuLab does not use the traditional audio track based recording like in most other DAWs, MuLab uses a more modular approach. That said, MuLab does try to support the traditional way of audio recording as good as possible, for users that are used to it.I suspect I am overlooking something very basic here.
Hope this helps.
