MuLab Plugin 9.0.52 is available in https://www.mutools.com/mulab/plugin/latest-binary

What's changed:
  • When scrolling the time line bidirectionally using right-click-drag, there could be an unexpected GUI lag. Fixed.
  • When zooming in/out on tracks using the mouse wheel, the track under cursor could unexpectedly shift away. Fixed.
  • When pasting a module (eg rack) into an existing module (eg rack) now an "Are you sure?" is asked as this is an undoable action.
  • The "End Event At Audio End" function could unintendedly create an infinite event. Fixed.
  • Empty sample events caused a wrong audio clip display. Fixed.
  • When saving an audio sequence as .MuSequence then reloading that MuSequence file did not properly work as intended. Fixed.
  • Moving/copying Sends from one rack to another didn't preserve the send connection anymore. Fixed.
  • Moving/copying a send from a rack to the send destination rack caused a hang. Fixed.
Currently this M9.0.52 update is only available for Windows.
The MacOS update will follow soonish.

First time I have checked the mulab plugin in a while (most of my time is spent in mulab app :D )

When loading or changing a preset the plugin does not display correctly:
mulab plugin window bug.jpg

Also the browser displays over the patch parameters when in 'docked' mode:
mulab plugin browser window bug.jpg

Running 9.0.52 version in Windows 10. Captured images were in Bitwig, but have also tested in Reaper, Cubase, and even running mulab plugin in mulab v8, all with similar problem. Display can sometimes be corrected using the resize option in the bottom corner of window and sometimes not. Sometimes reloading the preset can give a different result, I think depending on the previous preset loaded.

I'm also experiencing this problem - MuLab Plugin 9.0.52 (Windows 10, Studio One). Ver 9.0.48 had the same issue.

Confirmed bug, will be fixed in the next update. Thanks!

What's changed between M9.0.42 and M9.0.54:

M9.0.43
  • The "Support MIDI" preference has bee removed.
If you don't want MuLab to open any MIDI ports, simply clear everything in MuLab's MIDI Setup.
That will have the same effec as switching off the removed "Support MIDI" preference.
  • New shortcut to add a new Live Scene.
  • When adding a new Live Scene, the Live Matrix auto scrolls to the right to show the new Live Scene.
  • Improved behavior for toggling the Composer Modular Area via mouse or via shortcut.
  • Further finetuned behavior wrt. files in the "AutoSaved" folder.
  • New color preference "Table List Column Title Color".
  • New color preferences for "Wave Selection Back Color" and "Wave Selection Fore Color".
  • New preference "Unselected Wave Dim Factor".
In previous versions when selecting a section in the audio editor, all unselected audio was dimmed for 50%.
Now that value is a user preference and can be set from 0% to 100%.
  • MuLAb App Windows: New preference "DPI Aware". Default is On. In some cases you might want to switch this off wrt VST plugin editors.
  • Further vectorization of the GUI = less dependency on external graphic files.
More than 90% is vectorized. Goal is 100%. Step by step.
  • Sequence -> Move One Step Left/Right could cause a crash when used in the Event List Editor. Fixed.
  • Fixed a graphical artifact bug in a newly created empty composer editor.
  • There was a tiny little chance that upon ending audio recording there could occur a crash. Fixed.
  • Other small improvements.
M9.0.44->46
  • Bug fixes.
M9.0.47
  • Step Sequencer Steps/Beat now can be any number from 1 to 16.
  • Step Sequencer now also has a tempo factor.
  • Step Sequencer: Switching patterns didn't properly work anymore. Fixed.
  • Several shortcuts that used "Show/Hide..." have been renamed to "Toggle..." so to make shortcut function names more uniform.
If you used any of these, you'll get a notification on startup and you might want to reset these shortcuts.
  • Toggling the rack desk with a shortcut did not update the respective button in the composer panel at the top. Fixed.
  • Filter graph now is drawn independent from on/off state again. (as was before M9.0.43)
  • When changing the play position on the timeline, the tempo track was not always properly taken into account. Fixed.
  • Other small improvements.
M9.0.48
  • New internal method to perform a "Render Composition/Tracks/Clips...".
Previously such rendering was done in the main user thread, but this could cause problems (eg rendering certain VST plugins) so now this rendering is done in a separate thread.
  • When moving/copying sidechained modules between racks, it was possible to create an infinite routing, causing a hang. Fixed.
  • Changing the "Level Meter Maximum Level Fall Down Time" preference was not immediately visible. Now it is.
  • When automating parameters of the module inside a Modular Feedback Delay and the MFD was in auto-bypass mode, this automation was not processed, which also ceased all event sequence playback. Fixed.
  • New color preferences for the level meters: See MULAB menu -> GUI -> Colors -> Level Meter Low/Medium/High Colors.
  • In some cases audio stream clips could unexpectedly continue playing after their end. Fixed.
  • Right-click [+] Track button: "Delete Unused Tracks" was missing. Fixed.
  • When the keyboard on top was hidden right-clicking the CPU meter did not give the option to Show Audio Engine Stats, but only to Show Keyboard. Fixed.
  • Several important stability / performance improvements wrt recording and editing audio files, especially when intensively using many / long audio files.
  • Other improvements.
M9.0.49->51
  • When quiting MuLab, MuLab could hang while shutting down. Fixed.
M9.0.52
Fixed.

M9.0.53
  • Step Sequencer: Running LED was not working anymore. Fixed.
  • Dropping a rack slot on itself unintendedly created a new rack. Fixed.
  • MuLab Plugin: Several window resize issues, all fixed.
M9.0.54
  • Optimized GUI speed when working with complex compositions / projects, especially when vertically zooming in/out tracks.

My project is still lagging during horizontal scrolling while zoomed out :( I notice the improvement when I zoom in, then the lag is gone.
