I did a quick doublecheck with a heavy project but don't see what you mean.
So please elaborate, preferably using a concrete MuLab 8 project so speed can be compared between M8 and M9.

I don't have have experience with MuLab 8 so I can't compare. I'm not sure if this is visible enough on the gif but I experience it as 'stutter'. The gif runs at 60 FPS.

The more clips that must be drawn, the more time it takes to draw them all.
At first sight i don't see anything abnormal in that gif, not something that should hold the M9.0 release or the R&D of an extended plugin system. I assume there will be further GUI optimizations of all kinds in future updates, in balance with musical improvements.

Can we have more than 32 parameters to control on the main panel of the plugin version? instead of MP 32 I would love an option for MP 128 or at least 64

So, i support this feauture request.

Worth noting:
Falcon has 128 Automation Slots
MSoundFactory has 256 multi parameters
Reaktor has 576 dynamically assigned (instead of manually assigned) parameters

Modulars (that I have) tend to have a lot of slots available for automation. Mulab Plugin is definitely on the conservative side with it's 32 MPs.

This makes sense - there are 128 MIDI Control Change Messages (+ Prog. Change and aftertouch).

I'm curious about this limit. You can map pretty much any function to external controllers, without the need for meta-parameters, so why the need for more of those? 576 is an insane amount of parameters to assign, you wouldn't even remember them all!

Personally, I wish you could assign a single knob as a kind of 'master' which then works exactly like the scroll wheel. So when you hover over a parameter, this master knob then controls that parameter. Yeah, I know, the scroll wheel does exactly that, but a knob or fader is far better than using a scroll wheel.

My vst/scripts controllers uses plugin parameters
and I also want to automate these parameters within reaper.

So when you hover over a parameter, this master knob then controls that parameter. Yeah, I know, the scroll wheel does exactly that, but a knob or fader is far better than using a scroll wheel.

The next M9.0.55 update will feature 128 meta-parameters.
That's also the number of parameters that MuLab Plugin will expose to the host.
