Side chain with MCompressor performance

I'm trying to link the signal of a bass drum in the entrance of a noise generator, so the noise only sounds while the bass drum is kicking. I'm using the expander preset and the side chain option. Everything works fine when the bass drum track has a signal, but it doesn't work several seconds after when it has a silence. I have a video of everything. Please help me!

Perhaps you could just use MNoiseGenerator and its envelope follower for your purpose. AFAIK that plugin has a side-chain input.

I haven't tested it, but try disabling "Intelligent sleep on silence" in the MCompressor settings.
