Dude -THANK YOU for this. Makes so much sense now that I look back on things -I was using the FX setting method and I wasn't getting a flipped waveform. i was listening and couldn't even tell the difference -The ONLY way to flip the polarity of the entire track is to go into the volume plugin and check the little box... Setting on the clip FX is ONLY for the clip, and not the track - so if you have multiple non-copied clips, you might have some inverted and some not; while the TRACK setting one on the volume control will be for all clips in the track.
By the way -What is a "clip"?? I only think of sound in terms of waveforms... Never came across this "clip" until I started with Tracktion Waveform...
