Hi Jürgen, Axel from the sorrounding of Hamburg/Germany here. :-) First of all: Thank you for all the hard and effective (!) work you put into this fantastic project!

I use the Novation Launchkey 49 MK3 (latest firmware) with Bitwig 4.4 and Windows 11 (latest updates) with DrivenByMoss 18.1.0.

I have two questions:

1) Where do I find the "Preferences Settings" mentioned on page 101 chapter 22.5?

2) In Chapter 22.2 you wrote "Shift+Record - Toggle launcher overdub. Can be changed in the settings" This does not work for me. Overdub is neither toggled nor activated in the launcher.

Any suggestions?

Best regards
Axel

Amazing! Thank you!

In your video you mention that it's possible to change the resolution of the sequencer. I've re-watched the video and read the manual, but I can't see how to do this. Is there a button combination?

Love the integration.
Using launchkey mini mk3.

When launching bitwig I can shift+arp/chord to switch between tracks. But the moment I mess around with the instrument settings or add effects I can no longer use the function to switch between tracks, instead it tries to switch between instruments within the track.

Is this a bug or intended?

I realise this was working as intended due to the knobs being set to device mode. Makes perfect sense now. :)

Currently I must hold shift and first row of the top scene launch button on the APC40.
Is it the purpose of the setting of the Jurgenbymoss drivers setting : play sequence, default view mode, play ?
I tried several settings but it does not start APC40 in session mode.
Since this came up sometimes in the last time, I will add it to the wishlist.
Thanks a lot. I use your script for my techno live performances with an old linux laptop and it works fine.

Open the Bitwig settings, select the controllers page, locate your added controller extension, click on the little gear icon, this will popout the extension specific settings.

Thank you - it works very well! :tu:
Normally Hamburg is a rainy city - but the last time the weather was fantastic :!:

Is it possible to have the transpose commands just transpose selected notes (instead of the entire clip)?

Sorry, no. The only access to the notes is via the sequencing API and there are no states for selected notes.

Hi, have a question regarding Push integration. Is it possible to copy and paste sequencer pages like shown in this vid at 4:05?

I just learned about this plugin, excellent! I am having a hard time figuring it out. I am using keyboards and controllers; none of them are in your predefined setups, so I use generic flexi. Now, when i press the faders and buttons, the flexi definitely picks it up, I can see that. But, anything I assign to it doesn't work for anything. I thought I saw you say somewhere to use the user functions, but that doesn't do anything either. Nothing does anything! Please help, I don't understand something. If i don't use your plugin, mapping the controls works just fine in regular bitwig. However, bitwig has no ability to "latch" or toggle. So I am trying to use your plugin for latching/toggling (like for the leslie speed switching on organ vst).

Currently, not. Not fully sure if it is possible, might be a bit tricky. Will add it to the wishlist.

There are several tutorial videos on my Youtube channel about Generic Flexi:

I hope these will set you on the tracks.

Yes thank you! I did watch this, but I must have missed that part. So the only function I can assign are in the modes. But now, how do I make it latch? I tried both absolute and absolute toggle, and both behave the same way. When i press the button down it goes to 127 and when i let go it goes back to 0. BUt the toggle shouldn't do this, it should stick to one setting and then go back to 0 with another click. I did not see in any video you showing how to do a latch.

edit, i keep trying to use user set or user toggle parameter, and both do the same thing (neither will latch).

I should also mention I am trying to map the controller buttons/faders to the VST parameters. I noticed earlier in this thread someone else having issues with that, which led to you adding the "user toggle parameter".

I'm thinking about getting a Launchpad Pro Mk3 myself, but prefer the simpler implementation of Wes Koop's script (https://github.com/weskoop/Launchpad-Pro-Mk3-for-Bitwig).

Would there be any issues with installing DrivenByMoss to use with other controllers along with his script for the Launchpad specifically?
