I think the law is something like 5 years after they stop selling Intel Macs, they can get rid of Rosetta 2. That's what I read anyway.

If they follow the past two years, we should have an update this month, either 10.8 or 11. My bet is 10.8
Last maintenance update was also almost 6 months ago so we should see something soon I think.

Yes, the lag of response during playback is terrible. Also would be great to finally have 32bit float support for projects and the browser

Me too. I get that the UI would need a major rework for touch, but the iPads are plenty powerful enough now.

I've had some issues with audio staying in sync and the audio lagging or hitching in Logic on an M1 Max so I'm looking forward to those issue being addressed.

indeed, some major latency issues were introduced some versions ago

I think Logic Pro 11 won't be a thing until they have a major redesign ready.
Logic 10 likely will go to versions 10.10, 10.11 and so on.

It's been one year since the release of 10.7 Maybe next week we will see the 10.8 along with the release of Mac OS Ventura.
They might be skipping as well though, for a Version 11 release mid next year. Will be 10y anniversary of Logic Pro 10.

It would definitely make sense for it to be announced along with or soon after the release of macOS Ventura, which goes live this Monday. Tuesday could totally be the day.

When do you think Logic Pro 11 will come out?
