Looking forward to the day I'll be able to play with all those juicy Zebra 2 soundsets I don't have yet

The Dark Zebra it is not all just about the soundset, it has many other more things taken from Diva as Zebra 2 never had.
Since there's no mention anywhere, my question is if the Zebra Legacy will have everything The Dark Zebra currently has (gui, Diva waves, s.o.), not only the specific famous soundset.

This can be a tad confusing, but the short answer is yes.Cornel-Florin wrote: Thu Nov 03, 2022 10:23 am The Dark Zebra it is not all just about the soundset, it has many other more things taken from Diva as Zebra 2 never had.

Included in The Dark Zebra soundset is the special ZebraHZ version of Zebra2. They come together as a pair. Quite a few of the presets in the soundset also rely on the extra features from this synth (Diva filters, resonator etc).
Zebra Legacy will give you all of this. Lucky you.

Already owning Z2 and Dark Zebra, will I be able to only install the soudsets I don't already have ? Given Legacy is announced to be a unique product, I'm affraid to just "install" everything at once, and mess up all my database (for exemple, I have placed all my Z2 sounsets in the Zebra HZ folder, as I only use HZ). I'd prefer to only copy the missing soundsets wherever I want.

The soundsets will come as individual files (one per soundset) that you drag&drop onto Zebra2, and they will install into the USER area, into a subfolder named "Legacy", so that that Legacy folder will then be populated with all the individual soundset subfolders. This also ensures that these (slightly updated) soundsets will not overwrite any existing soundsets of the same name.robisme wrote: Thu Nov 03, 2022 1:15 pm Already owning Z2 and Dark Zebra, will I be able to only install the soudsets I don't already have ? We will probably separate the NKS preview files for all soundsets into their own installable package.

I prefer to imagine it on a secret base on an asteroid except the secret base is actually a front and the real secret base is under the fake secret baseDouble Tap wrote: Sat Nov 05, 2022 4:24 pmI prefer to imagine it on a secret base in an asteroid.ahanysz wrote: Sat Nov 05, 2022 2:26 amI like to imagine u-he headquarters as an underground lair, deep enough to be safe from asteroids.

That's a new parameter ?Urs wrote: Wed May 18, 2022 1:36 pm Zebra3 development is making great progress, but there is no ETA.
If so, it's ok... we already have OSC, MSG, LFO, ARP, SEQ, XMF, ENV... I wouldn't mind one less parameter (ETA). but tell me.... is there an estimated release date ??
I'll settle for 3 zebra lattes
