Why do you think this deep discounting is happening?

"O-o-h Child" by Five Stairsteps - this is a cool song from the Crooklyn movie!classicalaudionewbie wrote: Tue Nov 08, 2022 9:42 pm Given the XILS and Toontrack sales, two questions in case anyone can help:
1) How has XILS V+ held up? Anyone use it? Been taken with the VP330 ever since hearing it on Dua Lipa's Levitate.
2) Which SDX would be best for the kind of sound in something like the old hit "O-o-h Child" by Five Stairsteps? And is there an SDX that gets close to the sound of Ash Soan's In the Pocket EZX?
$149 a year ago. They might have added another to the lineup since then--I don't recall.HydrogenHuman wrote: Wed Nov 09, 2022 12:47 am Has the Sonible Smart Bundle ever gone below $199 when on sale? Was tempted to get it from Plugin Boutique but if it's going to be cheaper then I'll wait.
please email them about this, hopefully enough customers just say no.JockMcRonan wrote: Tue Nov 08, 2022 10:24 pmI thought so, I hadn't really been paying much attention for a while but when I went to their website I was sort of taken aback, I have quite a bit of their stuff but I doubt I will be paying current prices. As long as it all keeps working (I'm still on EZ Drummer 2) on Mac as updates roll along.steveski wrote: Tue Nov 08, 2022 3:37 pm
Couldn't agree more. The cost of Toontrack has taken a massive leap in the last few years and is possibly marginalising its customers. It's become too expensive to keep up with their new releases and any 'sales' are usually the older products. Unless something different appears this BF , I'll be giving Toontrack a miss. Again.
My guess is their US distributor (who we buy from) suggested it. It's still a small discount compared to other companies so I don't think it means much.
I haven't heard an SDX that sounds like that but XLN Audio Vintage Dry has that sound.classicalaudionewbie wrote: Tue Nov 08, 2022 9:42 pm 2) Which SDX would be best for the kind of sound in something like the old hit "O-o-h Child" by Five Stairsteps?
