i'm very likely a bit biaised by the magnificients of the interface and the smart advertising stategy of the developpers, but at the same time it is compensate by the overall low price policy their builted up to sell their products, so all in all it is quite like a no brainer for me
so let me give me my comparative opinion to the ones i already own
Wavefactory Echo Cat
very attractive aspect of the user interface that emulates one of the first tape echo hardware unit...and all in all we have a very detailed ensemble of old and modern parameters to tweak with, my only grip is intrinsequely part of tapes emulation, it has a very unstable and drastically colouring feedback effect, a bit tricky to use by consequence
Waves Kramer Master Tape
Very smooth sounding unit with a limited but relevant amount of parameters, the only reproach would have the option to sync the delay time ...as a single record/playback loop it seems easier to have a stable feedback
Wave J37
Attractive GUI and it seems to have a complete amount of parameters...but some of them seems to me rather outdated (wow and flutter section create with two LFOs applied either to volume and pitch...not very realistic !)
U-He Satin
Likely one of the first of these emulation in the virtual market, ...offering also a through zero flanger effet, very complete and diverse in itself, let say that the impressive amount of models and parameters into the tape circuit section implies again that you'd need to take your time to find musically relevant presets ...i see this unit as an experimental one that often goes beyond musical need, as would have been early synth of the seventies (like AKS synth)
Sonic Charge Echobode
interesting unit that obviously is primarily targeting weird sound effets and abrasive sonorities, being based on a coarse frequeny shifter ... i assume in the pure tradition of sonic charge products
Softube Tape Echoes
Likely the best one IMO in term of equilibration between intuitiveness and musicality at one hand and variety/complexity at the other (and this GUI is a real beauty !!!) ...the only grip is that it was rather expensive when i bought it
Audiothing Alborosie Dub Station
I think this one has been a piece of genius as a marketing strategy : THE delay effect from Kingston, from the heart of reggae music...for this only reason i was sold !!! ...i must admit i do not really understand the interest of the impedance parameter and how in influence the resulting sound but never mind,...my only regret would be a more flexible spring reverb unit (with also a shorter tail and perhaps a stereo spread parameter)
Audiothing Outer Spaces
One of the best Roland Tape Echo emulation when it came out,...i regret that the reverb cannot be ALSO included into the feedback loop, but i assume it needed to be a faithful emulation ?
Audiothing Reels
A late update gave a real addition to this plugins, that though, is a bit too colouring for my taste, perhaps a way to tame this ?
Audiothing Wires
Again a piece of genius in marketing strategy IMO,...as the emulation of an echo unit coming out of the 2nd world war ...wow !!!!,
the point is that for such a faithfull emulation, you must be a lover or collector to appreciate the drastic influence of wow/flutter, drops and clicks parameters, very impressive but not very musical at the least...but anyway : it sounds really unique !
Audiority Echoes T7E mkII
I bought it because it seemed to be the most complete emulation of the Binson harware unit...of course a bit counterintuitive to tweak so i forgot it a bit...
Audiority Space Station UM-282
Multitap delay and reverb emulation of the Ursa Major harware unit, ...i'm just wondering on how much costed the original harware unit when it came to the market, no modulation parameters but i assume it has its own internally, ...still a bit confused by the atypical set of parameters honestly !
