I liked the demo. Ridiculously good price too.

Cheery keeps getting better and better - Elka and now this! :)
I will take the Lord's name in vain, whenever I want. Hail Satan! And his little goblins too.

Really ? Why are you asking opinions about something you do not find interesting ? I do not understand you. Maybe because English is not my native language.

They have a 64-bit version too.
Here's the sales page.

Please show me where the 64 bit version is.

Memory moon ME80

Was looking for the preset of the Vangelis song To The Unknown Man and couldn't find it.
So here is my patch.

Never mind. I see the company name is also the name of one of the synths. So when I saw him say Memorymoon, I assumed he meant the Memorymoon.

I still stand by what I say about the sound. I listened to the ME80 before I bought Arturia's CS80 because Arturia was superior and that's not saying much because Arturia, at the time, wasn't all that great.

The GX80 blows both of them out of the water, at least up to V3. I haven't listened to V4 yet but I'm not spending their ridiculous upgrade prices anymore. I played that game longer than I should have.

I wish someone would do a comparison with the Arturia version.

The factory preset A Benefit or a Hazard (Leads) sounds great. It has that lofty floating character of the real CS80.

I have the ME80 and I entirely agree. As for Arturia V4, it is night and day compared to V3. It's a complete rewrite. They knocked it out of the park, and the GS-80 is the only thing that can compare. I made some comparison patches and they are very close to one another. IMO the V4 filter sounds better than the GS-80, but take price into account, and I find no reason anyone would buy V4.

Thank you!

I think this is a fine sounding release. Fun presets! If I didn't have that other company's, I'd be all over this.
Side by side, the GX oscillator sound a little more muted (at 4x OS) compared to the V version. Maybe the filter mode is wrong? but I've never heard plain osscilators on the real thing anyway.
[EDIT: I found a slider called BRILL that allowed the oscillator to be fully bright, not muted]

Also, grabbing and bending a note low, the high end trails off similar to a sampled sound. Not sure why that
happens, but I've heard that a lot before in VSTs. Where as the V holds it's high end sizzle while dropped a couple octaves, like real analog does.
This never affects anything musically for me AT ALL, but it is an interesting quirk.

I don't care about CPU usage, never have, never will.
And the interface looks perfectly fine on my large 4k hdr monitor. not fuzzy at all.

I have the latest Arturia CS-80 V4 which sounds much better than V3, but the GX-80 demo really impressed me!

For preset lovers, the Arturia has 200 factory presets, and the GX-80 has 1000+ presets. :D
Windows 10 and too many plugins

Just spent my second hour with it and went through more presets. This is truly a stunning sounding synth. This isn't just a CS-80 it is the GX with 4 layers and controls specific to it so direct comparison to the Arturia is not going to be easy. Regardless the out of the box sound is wonderful to my ears. Instantly inspiring. So impressed.

Because maybe I'm interested in what other people think of something regardless of what my plans are? How is this surprising? We're on forums man. If you're not here to talk to people wtf are you doing here?

Clunky is definitely something to address. As far as its existence being an admission that the interface is cluttered, many people want to see everything at once, with no menus or sub-panels.

In any case, I'm not saying criticism isn't valid and I'm certainly not trying to dissuade people from criticizing. Cherry Audio needs to hear these things so they know what to improve.
