Considering I use plugmon Neumann pro, what kind of workflow am I missing by using exclusively Zebra HZ ?pierb wrote: Thu Nov 24, 2022 5:13 pm Honestly I vastly prefer using Zebra 2 over ZebraHZ. I find the workflow a lot more polished.
Sorry I have no experience with the Plugmon stuff. I've tried some of their themes for Zebra and Hive but they are not for me.robisme wrote: Thu Nov 24, 2022 5:48 pm Considering I use plugmon Neumann pro, what kind of workflow am I missing by using exclusively Zebra HZ ?
Nothing. That's the thing. It's just a superior version with Neumann because Neumann works with both 2 and HZ. And the workflow in Neumann is also just better than all the other skins due to the layout and general way that you don't need to go through so many tabs
I didn't mean like... it was designed to be an upgrade. I meant upgrade in the sense it improves upon what was already existing while retaining all previous features. Very sorry about the poor wording!Urs wrote: Thu Nov 24, 2022 2:31 pm Yes. The reason it came up is purely because Hans wanted it. I added some things that I was going to try anyway, but which would ultimately be done better in Zebra 3. He liked those things and we kept them in there for him.

Personally I’ve never even touched the regular Zebra 2, I bought both at the same time and always had the mindset of “ZebraHZ is just Zebra 2 but more, so why would I even bother using Zebra 2?” And thus I’ve never used itUrs wrote: Thu Nov 24, 2022 2:31 pm Yes. It's their own fault for not religiously following Zebra development for at least the last 2 yearsrobisme wrote: Tue Nov 29, 2022 4:27 pm I purchased Z2 and HZ just 2 month ago, full price obviously (well, with the dinsaur offer).
But I don't feel I was stolen at all when Legacy was release, because they are veeeeery good synth. And having a free upgrade path for Z3 in several month ? I was ready for paying for that ; this is really a gift (Especially since it is actually a different product).
I can't understand people having everything fore 99 € and still crying for a discount for a future app.
ps sorry I had to hit edit cuz I accidentally hit return/post halfway through leaving my commentrobisme wrote: Thu Nov 24, 2022 5:48 pm Considering I use plugmon Neumann pro, what kind of workflow am I missing by using exclusively Zebra HZ ?
If you have the skills and or time and or determination, you could build your ownTekkera wrote: Thu Dec 01, 2022 12:02 pm This has been bothering me for a while, I so badly just want some XY midi controllers but they just don't seem to exist! I feel like the only way to make it exist is getting a little midi controller commissioned or something. I don't like tablet midi stuff but I think that's the only other option.
