Is there really no way to batch export multiple clips from a single track?

No unfortunately the Pro version does not have this feature either. The closest I can come to is ( yes it's a laborious workflow ) to Highlight each clip individually then choose ' Render clip ' > ' render the selected clip and replace it ' . This will give you the files automatically into your 'projectFileName > Rendered' folder.

* Note that this only renders directly through this track and not the master track, so any effects will need to be on this track *

I'm sure it would be possible to create a user macro to this in an automated way and a hotkey combo applied to it, I might look into this myself as I am currently creating some sample packs and it could be useful.

I would love a macro I could assign to a hot key to render the selected clip and replace it. Doing this in Waveform requires a few clicks, and it's not difficult...but when doing it to several dozen clips, it is tiresome. A hot key would be ideal, but I don't know how to determine what exact command is to create my own macro to do this. I never found the option in the user hotkey definitions, either.

There is a definition, tho it's not called render which makes it a bit confusing it basically is doing what 'flatten' does to the Audio file, I'll have to have a look at the docs again as I'm not using the PC which has this macro at the moment ( IIRC the function is in the API but hidden from normal use ). You then just have to make your own hotkey combo for it.

Oh Hold on it's already built in , 'Merge' selected clips is the 1. So basicall if you only have 1 clip selected it will re-render it replacing the original. the shortcut is already set as ALT+M

So this gives me an idea, I'll look into creating a Macro that iterates through each Audio file on the chosen track and renders ( Merge in this case ) it again thus creating the files into the 'Rendered' folder.
I'm thinking since the API is Javascript based it should allow 'for' loops, It's been a while since I've experimented with any code, so this could take some research

You can alt/drag to select all clips that you want from the original track.

In the bottom panel select 'pack clips to takes'.

Click the + sign on the resulting comp clip and select 'unpack to new tracks".

Alt/drag to select all takes/clips and right click/remove silence. (you may have to set your remove silence parameters the first time you do it, to tighten things up)

Then alt/drag all the trimmed clips again, select the render clips option from the bottom panel and choose 'Merge the selected clips from each track'

That should give you a file for each clip in the original track, although I don't know any way to have the clip name follow through to the final file, which is really really annoying, I just get wav files called 1.wav, 2.wav etc etc.

It's faster than rendering each clip separately, but still not perfect.
