Hey!
Can you please tell me if it is possible to mirror a midi clip in Waveform (vertically and/or horizontally)? This is the first time I needed such an opportunity :)
If there is no such function in Waveform, then maybe some third-party plugin can do it?

You could render it to audio, and THEN reverse it ?
Waveform 13; Win10 desktop/8 Gig; Win11 Laptop; MPK261; VFX+disfunctional ESQ-1

But then the waveforms would be backward, which may not be the desired effect. I suspect the goal here would be to have a melody play backward with normal waveforms.

It's such a rare need that I doubt many MIDI editors would have this feature. I'd think old-school entry would wind up being fastest overall...just enter the notes backward on the piano roll.
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.

Yes, you have approximately caught the idea) We need midi signals played in reverse order. I was surprised to find that this is not the case. People create some crazy meaningless things, but this little “stupidity” was left untouched) Or a very big “stupidity”, since no one did it))

To mirror the notes of a midi clip:
* Select all notes (CTRL-A) inside a clip
* Select "Mirror" from "MIDI Clip" panel or from the "Actions" list.
You have to select at least one single note otherwise this menu item will not appear.

Even in the first message I wanted to write that: "I double-checked everything in Waveform!" :) but, there was a feeling that I saw something like that.
THANK YOU good man! :hail: :hail: :hail:
Upd.: I wonder how many such small, inconspicuous and convenient features are in Waveform?

I think there are quite a few, considering how many help requests here result in someone showing how something can be done. Remember: open the Control Panel into "useful mode" and you'll probably find what you're looking for.

What I would like to see in Waveform is more transformative MIDI effects, like half or double-time. It's a pain in the ass to do those kinds of things by hand and it's exactly the sort of thing that computers can easily do.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

In fact, half or double-time can be easily achieved by dragging the side arrows of the clip while holding [ALT] (on Windows).
Waveform 12 Pro, Cubase Pro 13, Windows 11, i7-13700H
