Can you please tell me if it is possible to mirror a midi clip in Waveform (vertically and/or horizontally)? This is the first time I needed such an opportunity
If there is no such function in Waveform, then maybe some third-party plugin can do it?
Yes, you have approximately caught the idea) We need midi signals played in reverse order. I was surprised to find that this is not the case. People create some crazy meaningless things, but this little “stupidity” was left untouched) Or a very big “stupidity”, since no one did it))
Even in the first message I wanted to write that: "I double-checked everything in Waveform!"Jan Meyer wrote: Sat Jan 14, 2023 4:40 pm To mirror the notes of a midi clip:
* Select all notes (CTRL-A) inside a clip
* Select "Mirror" from "MIDI Clip" panel or from the "Actions" list.
You have to select at least one single note otherwise this menu item will not appear.
In fact, half or double-time can be easily achieved by dragging the side arrows of the clip while holding [ALT] (on Windows).pough wrote: Sat Jan 14, 2023 7:07 pm What I would like to see in Waveform is more transformative MIDI effects, like half or double-time. It's a pain in the ass to do those kinds of things by hand and it's exactly the sort of thing that computers can easily do.
