Aaron Parks uses Repro5 on his Little Big albums and live in that concert series and they are incredible. You can see his laptop on the piano in a couple of the little big YouTube videos.

Can’t remember the article I read it in but it is how I got on the u-he synths and now I loooove them :)

glokraw,
I think you were reviewing my music, but not certain (thank you if you were!). If you were reviewing my music, not sure how you'd see waveforms, maybe you are talking about vurt's video? I will have an appropriate reply if you were reviewing my music.

I just record the playback in AVLinux. And then load It in Audacity. The distro's audio config defaults to 'hearing all'. Great for jamming along with my playlists, practicing with sundry youtube stars, etc. Makes it easier to comment on various portions of a song, down to the second, as needs be.
Cheers

glokraw,
OK, I learned something new today. Thank you for reviewing my music, I appreciate it! I am now listening to "A Dream In Captivity": nice intro! Nice sea gull (I think) photo. Very nice synth sounds and relaxing melodies. This song would be nice background music for a video or a movie. Now listening to "Almost Home": another nice and relaxing song that could be in a video or a movie. Nice audio quality and atmosphere! Nice songs! :)

Glad you find some you like! It's a blessing to wake up with so many instruments and sounds to choose from, and play :hyper: Gotta place most of the blame on the U-he team. Not to mention the side effect that they force the competition :scared: to keep improving

That was very enjoyable. You can hear very much the U-he Hive warmth in it.

Very glad you like it, even more so coming from Brazil, which may be the most musical country in the world. I'm a big fan of Lari Basilio. Her guitar skillz and heart, are what I aim for in the long run. Hive makes fun jamtracks pretty easy to cook up :hyper:

I really like the ongoing results at the 45 minute mark, and the video chronicle is a good reference. Will get my guitar out later to happily practice picking and bends in such a cool evolving environ.
The bass-drops and synth parts at 52:30 are delightful.
Cheers

I haven't followed the cvilization closely, as I'm pretty simplistic, but watched a couple videos now, and it must be one of the most-powerful-per-square-inch units that can be racked. I have no idea if a plugin version is even possible, but I'm glad people are out there flashing the lights :hyper:

not sure if it would be possible to use in most hosts?
ie send 4 synths to a mixer that then cycles through the 4 inputs?
maybe a more modular host? bidule for example where each stereo out of a synth is two mono channels ...

urs would have to answer this sorry.

it is however, very useful and as you say, size wise very powerful indeed!
this is why i have two!! and could, if i had space, make use of another on large scale patches.
the flashing lights are just a funky bonus :ud:

Thanks. It was just a spontaneous session. Nothing really worked out, but I had great fun playing around with it.
