How much are these people who peddle software licenses, that were giveaways at one point, making? I see a number of them continually bumping their threads here. 5-10 dollars a license. I guess it adds up.

I bought at least 1. The price was low and that product has never been available free again, so I don’t feel too bad about it. Similarly, if someone were to buy the current Humble Bundle and sell the individual AAS stuff for $5 each, I wouldn’t feel bad about buying them (hint, hint).

I think it is a little tacky to purposely farm/hoard/collect licenses someone gave to you freely then immediately turn around and sell them for profit.

Splitting a bundle you paid for is a little different to me.

That said, I suppose it's partly devs fault for not generating NFRs or limiting the registration window for these licenses in the first place.

I think AAS sessions and sound packs have hit the $3per max mark... Although Objeq Delay is very much still worth the $9-$10 we often see it as.

Props to AAS for being the easiest to deal with in transfers. Keeps me wanting to support them whenever I can.

Well IK Multimedia went from never sending me anything (despite me being subscribed) so I only found out about giveaways, new products, updates via forums/websites. I tried re-subscribing several times to make sure they sent me stuff, but still hardly got any e-mails from them.

Now it is the exact opposite: Last wednesday I got 8 e-mails, 4 the day prior to that and 4 each following day…22 e-mails just this week counting from monday…(and a few more might pop up today and tomorrow)
