We're very sorry, sir. You were wrongly identified as a member of the far right anti-plugin fractionsl23 wrote: Thu Apr 13, 2023 6:34 am That's not what I was saying! But that's the trouble with forums, there's always someone who gets the wrong idea!
My position was made very clear, I don't support removal of plugins.

My comments were further thoughts prompted by what you said, not an attempted rebuttal of what was said. Its a conversation, not an argument.sl23 wrote: Thu Apr 13, 2023 6:34 am That's not what I was saying! But that's the trouble with forums, there's always someone who gets the wrong idea!

Apologies, my 4 year struggle with insomnia can make things hard to decipher at times.

. And we could genetically modify the Jo clones so they have 3x his natural lifespan with absolutely no adverse affects. Just like the Bill Gates funded and WEF approved Apeel products coming to your local supermarket soon (if they are not already there) https://www.apeel.com/. Err.. maybe not https://www.evansvanodine.co.uk/assets/eng_apeel.pdf

Let me start by this. I don't know about the others but I love your Studio DAW. I tried and have so many DAWs. This is the one for me. So some companies started to sell plugins without VST2 support. You don't wanna integrate VST3 support to the system, fine. But couldn't you integrate AAX or RTAS or any compatible file format to use those new plugins? None of us mind CLAP, but we don't find the plugins in CLAP format either. So I think all of us here just want to use the Mulab, but cannot if it drops support for all 3rd party applications.

AAX and RTAS are closed, proprietary formats owned by Avid, makers of the DAW ProTools, and no-one else gets to write a DAW which uses those formats.Gregory Toth wrote: Sun Apr 23, 2023 5:47 am But couldn't you integrate AAX or RTAS or any compatible file format to use those new plugins?
Also RTAS is obsolete, it was replaced by AAX many years ago
