One inconvenience I found wrt tab frames is that the initial state has 3 tab buttons hidden under the container, it can be dragged out to the top by 1. shrinking the tab frame to minimum height 2. exit front panel edit mode 3. enter front panel edit mode.

What is the 'property on/off button' component for?

Oops that's a bug due to a last minute change, the default tab buttons (default there are 4 tab buttons for user convenience) are meant to be horizontal. Will be fixed very soon. Thx for reporting this!

It's a generic name, which might be a bit confusing, but that's because it can be used for various kinds of On/Off buttons, that's why the generic name. Currently there are only 4 supported buttons:
  • LFO Tempo Sync
  • Note Stutterer Tempo Sync
  • Module Connection Mute
  • Oscillator AIPS
When you add a Property On/Off Button then the cursor changes into a pointing hand and you can click the specific On/Off you want to target in the GUI, for example a LFO Tempo Sync button. That will add a Tempo Sync button for that LFO onto the front panel.

MuLab App 9.1.3 alpha for Windows 64 bit is available here: https://www.mutools.com/mulab/app/lates ... 64-exe.zip

Put the new MuLab.exe and MuLab.ID files in your existing MuLab 9 folder thus overwriting the previous MuLab.exe and MuLab.ID files.

This fixes the Tab Frame bug that puts the 4 default tab buttons vertical instead of horizontal.

Wow! Time to start playing with MuX again! :tu:

The new version of Mudrum is an excellent combination of old and new. As elegant as always with the ability to modify.

Edit......ahhhh I see.....this is for the legacy Mudrum patches only which is great by the way. We cant actually modify this at component or module level.

Is there a way for us to build the drum processor module with racks that also shows the I/O connections to allow I/O configuration within the front panel?
We jumped the fence because it was a fence not be cause the grass was greener.

Yes you can edit MuDrum as much as you can edit any other MUX preset.

Like in MuDrum you mean?
Yes that's the "Drum Note Processor & Rack Desk" front panel component.
If you mean something else please elaborate.

MuLab App 9.1.4 alpha for Windows 64 bit is available here: https://www.mutools.com/mulab/app/lates ... 64-exe.zip

Put the new MuLab.exe and MuLab.ID files in your existing MuLab 9 folder thus overwriting the previous MuLab.exe and MuLab.ID files.

This fixes the bug that prevented restoring saved preferences.

Wow that was quick! Thanks Jo! :)

Not sure if it's a bug but module editor buttons on the front panel don't scale the power on/off button as much as in 9.0.59

Post

That's intended. Because the previous scaling caused a too big misbalance between power button and module name. Do you agree this new balance is better?
Also note that there now also is a separate Power Button component for front panels and you can size that one as you want.

Post

Yeah I think it's fine, just making sure everything works as expected :tu:

Just converting my old MC-909 Mux to a tabbed interface... Excellent work Jo! Really works great and saves a lot of screen space!

Some very minor things though:
  • Copying colours doesn't paste the contour colour, will that be added?
  • Can we have Tab Button contours at some point please?
  • Is it possible to remove the gradient on active Tab Buttons yet or if not, in the future?
