I keep my studio computer on and Bitwig running so I can walk in and do stuff.SLiC wrote: Mon Apr 17, 2023 12:47 pmDo you get very long indexing on start up? I got that index bug before, but it was in ver 3.x on macOS. I don't dl Bitwig's content other than the required stuff on instillation and I'm not a plugin hoarder so that had nothing to do with it. Hasn't happened to me since, not on Windows or macOS. That's a strange random bug they can't seem to get sorted out.

How does midi capture work with a third party plugin anyways? Audio is easy - just slap it on the master and you're done. Midi seems like it would have to tap your input device directly. Otherwise you'd have to put the plugin on any track you want to record which seems like it negates most of the convenience of having an auto record plugin.

You can have it on a specific track that has midi monitoring always on. The plugin will always be recording as you go about whatever you are doing on other tracks.Greenstorm33 wrote: Wed Apr 19, 2023 5:02 pm How does midi capture work with a third party plugin anyways? I can not get Rewind to show up in Bitwig. All the usual locations are right in settings, shows up in Ableton. It is the only plugin have ever had an issue with showing up in Bitwig. Any clue?

Obvs question sorry... Did you check the path it's actually installed in? And was it vst2 or 3 or anything that might need a check box in the settings?kpv wrote: Thu Apr 20, 2023 1:39 pm I can not get Rewind to show up in Bitwig.
