I want to buy Realphones but I have to ask one thing
The professional pack says below:
Set of 3 standard¹ headphone calibration profiles
Does that mean I can only use 3 headphone profiles? And can I choose those profiles?
I have DT1990 and M50X, I will only use correction profiles for those headphones. I also want to simulate car/club etc. presets, is this pack adequate for me?

Yes. It’s three set of headphones, you get all the simulated spaces.Fornicras wrote: Fri May 05, 2023 12:12 pm I want to buy Realphones but I have to ask one thing

You can change/select your chosen profiles whenever you like. So if you buy new headphones, you can change your choice of profiles.__Karlo__ wrote: Fri May 05, 2023 8:11 pmYes. I was trying it out on Beyerdynamics 880 250ohm, and honestly was awaiting for you guys to add those so I can check VHS out. Very disapointing sound I got out of it. Really surprised me in a bad way. The room thing wasnt my thing as well.HoRNet wrote: Fri May 05, 2023 8:56 amHi, I'm sorry you had a bad experience with our VHS, which headphone model are you using? Also keep in mind that we don't aim to a flat response but to the Harman over ear one.kPere wrote: Thu May 04, 2023 6:51 pm Try to stay away from Hornet VHS, it souds awful and is not really correcting to be flat. Or if you want to use it, make sure to compare it with competitors.

Another Realphones user here and I can tell you, you can buy it without any fear...Fornicras wrote: Fri May 05, 2023 12:12 pm I want to buy Realphones but I have to ask one thing

It will exactly do what you are asking for... choose which headphone models you want, you´ve got all the room simulations, etc...
I chose it over Morphit because of the room simulations and am happy with the decision!

I'm using Slate VSX now 99% of the time but before that I ran Morphit + Goodhertz CanOpener combination for years. Morphit doing the headphone correction and CanOpener doing the crossfeed. It's a very good combo.
I could never get Realphones nor Sonarworks to work well.

Another Realphones user and I like it a lot. I got Sennheiser HD600 and Realphones and the translation of my tracks on other devices skyrocketed after that. It got a little better with my old AKG K240 Studio and Morph-it, but Realphones + Sennheiser made the difference. And who knows the proportion between the two...
I confirm that if you get the three pack you can switch models after buying it. I don't know if there's a limit on the number of times you can do it though.

ok, i grow on the idea to get me Realphones.
some questions:
vs. Reverb uses and other (roomy) FX: is this "really" working uncer cans ? ( very important for me)
vs. Clubs / low frequenzy,...is this working on cans ? ( not exactly important vs. me)
sales: are there sales vs. "Realphones" ? specific times on the kalender ?

I don't like any existing software for the thing. However I have been worked on my Solution based on True stereo IRs (based on free convilogy XT reverb) for two years and nearly finished. But we are all hear differently. So I need testers especially with Sennheiser 650 headphones To show it to the People
it is all about how we perceived phase and reverb in the Real room. Frequency is also matter but it is like polishing, not the basic thing to fix to work with headphones

Also best bass reproduction I've ever heard from any headphones I've had on and THAT is the key for me, with fex. Mike Dean car etc.Digivolt wrote: Thu May 04, 2023 8:19 pm VSX is one of those rare instances where the hype is justified, I don't like to fanboy stuff but it's seriously the best on the market for emulating rooms in headphones

And V2 of Realphones is coming this year. I´m hoping it will get a frequency analyzer, cause it´s a great audioplayer, too!dionenoid wrote: Sun May 07, 2023 12:41 pm Another happy Realphones user here. DT1990 and Realphones are a golden combo.

On my Mac, I started with Sonarworks Reference, then Sound ID, and now I've settled on Realphones. My main headphones have been Sennheiser HD560S (open) and Audiotechnica ATH-M20x (closed, cheap but quite good and respond well to EQ correction). Realphones has many advantages for its price: plugin + system wide, frequency response correction, room simulation, speaker emulation... almost everything is configurable, and presets are easy to create/load.
But last week I received my latest pair of headphones, the Verum 1 mk2, and I have to say that these are so much flatter that I don't feel the need for EQ correction, and also they feel less "on the ear" that my other headphones, as if they put some space between the cans and my ears. Well, it needs a very slight boost in the bass, but that's because my interface has too high an impedance and too low a voltage at the phone output, and I expect this to be corrected by using a proper headphone amp. Just to say that investing in better headphones might allow you to not have to rely on correction software anymore.
